Today I am going in a different direction with my gratitude post. Thinking back on the things that are harder to be grateful for because they weren’t always positive. I am thankful for my ex-husband, because even though we weren’t meant to be, I got my 2 beautiful children out of that relationship. I am thankful for every relationship I’ve had between them and my fiancée. Every one has changed and shaped me, taught me what I needed to prepare myself for this forever. I am thankful for the jobs I didn’t get, because I ended up with my job now that I love. I am thankful for my fiancées ex-wife. Because of her we have Rob’s two kids and his two step children to love. I am thankful for my anxiety that led my primary care physician to refer me to my counselor. I see her 2 times a month for the past 3 years, and it has changed me in so many ways - all good. I am a big believer in the butterfly effect and how one small action could change the whole trajectory of your future. So today, I am thankful for all of those maybe not so positive things that led me to HERE today. 🤍

I am thankful for the beautiful 58• weather we had in Kalamazoo yesterday (made walking so much more enjoyable). I am thankful my girl who was sick for the past 3 days was finally feeling better and able to go back to school today. I am thankful to be able to work from home and greet my kiddos when they get off the bus in the afternoon. Thankful to hear the birds chirping outside my window. Thankful my Christmas tree is still up because it is full of precious ornaments my kiddos made. 🤍🤍🤍🤍

Hey gals and guys! I am Rose, 37 from Kalamazoo, MI. I have 2 kiddos, a 15 year old daughter and 12 year old son. I just recently got engaged and getting married 9/25/27! My fiancée has 2 kids as well, so things can get crazy in our house. I have a 4 year old pure white 10 pound Maltese named Tucker. I am so thankful for our children, my fiancée, and pup. My parents recently moved closer to us after a long time of the being quite far away and that has been amazing. I am thankful to have a wonderful job and amazing boss. I usually don’t take my breaks at work because it is always busy, but today I showed up for myself today and did take my breaks to walk around the backyard with Tuck. 🤍
