Hi everybody, i am Rosalien, Dutch, mom of 2 teenagers. After living in Indonesia for years we moved back to my hometown in the Netherlands. I have a passion for meaningful volunteering, sharing skills and making an impact together with and for communities abroad. My special expertise is disability. We, as a family, have gone through culture shock multiple times, hence i have a deep interest on the matter. As this is a community for moms living beyond borders, i hope to share and learn here 😁

One of the best ways to connect across borders is through food. 🥐🌮🥗 Every Monday, I'll be sharing one of my favourite traditional South African recipes or drinks that's simple to make using ingredients you can find almost anywhere in the world.
