My Favorite Calendar Reminder App To Draw Live Attendance
Do you know one of the easiest ways to get butts to your live events is using calendar reminders? Right? Finding a free service with easy to implement tech is hard to find at times. And then there’s AddCal.co This beauty is two-fold: - customer (not you) can read your announcement and click on their preferred calendar service to add your event to their calendar (Gmail, outlook, etc) - You can create an event on addcal and share the associated calendar links to your audience And now addcal is getting fancier with their analytics 👇 The service is free, and all you need to do is to create your events and share the links. How do I use this? - In my emails! - Social posts - Basically anywhere you want to enable and make it easier for someone to add your event to their calendar Remember, not everyone is on Skool and not all of your events need to be hosted inside the Skool live video service. My monthly Journey with the Stars event is publicized on meetup, via email and inside my Skool calendar. What tools do you use regularly to enable audience participation and engagement? Share yours! no affiliate links though 😀 Ps addcal has no affiliate program 😢

I DO love the calendar reminders. AND also I amm making calendar events for things like my New Toy Drops (not just calls and cosmic notes! I'll be interested to see if the toy drop "events" get members seeing the post. It's an experiment. I already have cosmic notes for the major astro stuff
August --> Soon To Be Wins!
New month! What is the single thing you want your Skool community to do for you by the end of August? More members? First paid member? A feed that actually talks back? Pick one and let's help you reach that goal!

@Carolina Velis I just wanted to love more people to participate. I do get some engagement, which is awesome. I don’t feel like anything needs an overhaul, but that’s my focus is just getting increasing engagement. Not really changing anything just in.

@Carolina Velis well not sessions exactly but I have asked people and taking their feedback into account
The one setup mistake that keeps your Skool quiet 😔
The most common reason a new Skool feels dead is not member count. It is that nobody knows what to do when they walk in. 𝗙𝗶𝘅 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲𝘀: a welcome post that tells them exactly where to start, one pinned prompt they can answer in under 30 seconds, and a first classroom module that gives a quick win. Orientation before slamming with all of your awesomeness. Which of the three do you have in place right now? Tell me where you are, and I will point you to the next move.

@Carolina Velis I just played with a couple of things to hopefully get people to interact more with the welcome post and start their journey towards level three. I’ve also made a few nips and tucks in my start here module. I like to get people engaging and interacting as soon as possible and of course people are busy and they don’t always even when there are plenty of invitations and I like to ask simple questions and offer fun little experiments for people to try. My experiments I mean something like pause and take a breath and share the quietest sound. You can hear right now.
🔮 Why rely on just one platform? Google’s 7-11-4 Rule for digital visibility
If you’ve ever felt like relying on a single social media platform feels like shouting into the void, there’s actually data and solid strategy behind why. (Though there's also a case for focusing on one place at a time too!) First... there's controversy over whether Google coined this rule or if it's an offshoot of their Zero Moment of Truth work. Either way, let's look at what the 7-11-4 rule says: Before a client feels confident saying "YES!" to your offers, signature programs, or services, they typically need: ⏱️ 7 Hours of Engagement: Time spent marinating in your content, wisdom, and expertise. 🔁 11 Touchpoints: Crossing paths with your message 11 distinct times before taking action. 🌐 4 Separate Digital Locations: Seeing you across multiple venues (e.g., your blog, a podcast, an email newsletter, or a community space). 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 Our work is deeply personal, transformational, and built on trust. Clients rarely buy on impulse after seeing a single short-form video. They are looking for alignment, depth, and resonance. 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀: You’re asking a single algorithm to carry all 7 hours and 11 touchpoints. If that algorithm shifts or reach drops, your main visibility pipeline stalls. You miss out on building a multidimensional ecosystem where people can actually binge your work. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝟳-𝟭𝟭-𝟰 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺: 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴-𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗔𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗿 + 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝗶𝘁 𝗨𝗽 (𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝟳 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀): A podcast, a detailed blog post, or long-form video where people can truly immerse themselves in your ideas ... across a period of time! 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗺𝗯𝘀 (𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝟭𝟭 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀): Repurpose your anchor content into bite-sized social posts, email newsletters, and community updates so clients naturally encounter you throughout their week. 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗳𝘆 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲𝘀 (𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝟰 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀): Guide folks off social feeds onto assets you own and control like your own domain, an email list, a self-hosted blog, or your Skool!

🎙️VIP Replay: SkoolKit Review & What It Takes To Build A Community
Carolina here with @Ronda Del Boccio (Empath Haven)! We just went live to talk about using community as a vehicle for business growth, managing our time/energy, and the tech tools making Skool management way easier. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗧𝗟;𝗗𝗥! 👇 🧠 𝟯 𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗲𝘁 & 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 1. Size Doesn't Equal Success: Build a community that fits your current life capacity. You don't need thousands of members for it to be impactful (or profitable). 2. The 7 / 11 / 4 Rule: Google's buying study shows digital consumers need 7 hours of engagement, across 11 touchpoints, in 4 different places before purchasing. Real human connection and visibility win every time! 3. Keep the Main Thing Main: Your time should go toward creating value and generating traffic not getting bogged down by manual admin work. 🛠️ 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: 𝗟𝗼𝘄-𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗸𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀 We geeked out on Skoolkit (a budget-friendly Chrome extension starting at $1–$2/mo) and how simple automation tools can save you hours: - Pre-Scheduling Posts: Schedule event reminders and content in advance without having to post manually in real-time. - Smart Auto-DMs: Nurture new members, share resources based on gamification levels, or send friendly check-ins on autopilot. - Payment Recovery: Automatically recover failed subscription payments to avoid losing passive income. 💬 What’s ONE admin task in your Skool group you’d love to automate this week? Drop it in the comments! ---> See you next month, friends! Aug 27th at 11am ET. Add to your calendar now. Ps. This community, Skool Growth, is going up in price! The VIP level of $ 5/month or $50/year is expiring on 8/15. Upgrade now or pay more later 😉
