Playing with Fingernails
Hey guys! Wondering what you think about playing with fingernails versus without. I saw that Jaco plays with flesh (no fingernails) and I was wondering if there is a reason for that. I always had the idea that having longer fingernails can help significantly with playing and tone.

The hassle of dealing with the fingernails is not worth it to me. Laurence Juber, one of the best fingerstyle guitarist in my opinion, plays without nails. His guitar sound is great, even without using fingernails.
