Portion size experiment thwarted
Well this am I had one piece of toast with one Tbsp peanut butter, a strawberry Activia yogurt cup with 1 Tbsp hemp hearts and coffee with cream. But my sensor stopped working. 4 days left. Can I still replace it? I felt a little shaky so suspect my blood sugar rose quite quickly.

Carb intake affects nighttime lows
The night before last I did not have a low at 3am for the first time. Here’s the weird part: Hubby and I ate a bag of sunchips the night before, so I was expecting a spike and crash…

@Tara Campbell thanks!
That “low glucose” feeling - AHA
I have sensed that my “I gotta eat” shakiness and inability to think right before lunch and mid afternoon were being caused by low blood sugar, but it is validating to notice (albeit a bit worrisome) how often I am borderline low or low 3 hours after I eat. I work from home. I generally have breakfast (after a cup of coffee with cream) before 9am. I run downstairs to grab food between zoom meetings usually between 11:30-1pm (am trying hard to take an actual break without my phone these days). Frequently I’ll have leftovers, 2 eggs on toast, or a wrap with tuna, mayo and lettuce, a frozen homemade soup or chilli, or a sandwich with whatever is available (cheese, ham, tomato, mayo). I tend to take a break to make a cup of tea between 2:30-3:30pm, often with a yogurt, an apple with cinnamon or peanut butter, or 2-3 cookies if we have them. Dinner at our house is almost always at 5:30pm, sometimes 6pm. Generally it is protein + veggie/salad + rice/potato. If protein is breaded, no starch. Pasta is either Napoletana (no meat or sausage on the side) or Bolognese, with grated parmesan. Other common meals are chilli, ground pork burrito with cheddar, lettuce, salsa, homemade guacamole, or chicken in a jarred Indian sauce (tikka masala, butter chicken) over rice with peas or broccoli side. Due to lack of time, and my work schedule, I am not the one shopping and preparing meals most of the time. I generally eat whatever I am served!

@Tara Campbell Thank you Tara, this is what I’ll work on. I am noticing that I have good energy and feel the best when my blood sugar is between approx 5.7 - 7.0. But it feels hard to keep it there! My average blood sugar is 5.3.

Hi Everyone, here is the "Libre View" we spoke about on the call. I have attached my report for you to see what the report looks like. You can see your time stamped food and activity within your actual grids, as well as your average glucose per day, etc. I'm happy to comment on anyone's Libre View (anonymously) if you send me a direct message and I set you up within my account so that I can see your report. You can also create your own account here: https://www.libreview.com/chooseCountryLanguage
