last day of september, and the room's been quiet for two weeks – that's on me. I went heads-down building. more than a dozen small businesses, most of them here on Bornholm, a concept website each. most of the owners haven't even seen theirs yet. and one thing kept happening, site after site: the best headlines weren't mine. a brewery had its best line printed on its own label. a gym owner had already said it in one sentence. a hypnotherapist asks the exact right question in the first minute of every session. a bookkeeper had put the whole promise in the name of the business. every time, the brief was already written – BY THEM. they just couldn't see it, because nobody can see it in their own words. same with you. the hard part of briefing an agent was never the prompt. it's finding the one sentence that says what you're actually good at. so, one line below 👇 how would you say what you do to a stranger at a party? no polish – the version you'd actually say out loud. I'll reply to every one with the first thing I'd build from that sentence. mine: "I help experts who'll never code build their own AI tools." your experience, multiplied. 💛

@Aaron Williams powerful Aaron! love it..
I stopped sending PDF proposals. here's the skill 📄
new in the classroom → SKILLS → the offer page. you give it your notes from a client call. it builds a one-page proposal website – their words as the headline, one price, one button – that actually reads well on a phone. then it checks itself for anything it made up, and only goes online when you say go. @Nicklas Brahima Fofanah – you were curious about exactly this. quick guess: when you quote someone today, is it a message with the number in it, or a PDF you hope they open? 😄 tell me which, and I'll reply with the three words I'd ban from your next offer – the ones that quietly cost the sale in your line of work. everyone else 👇 one line: what did the last proposal you sent look like? your experience, multiplied 💛

five new builders in the room 🎉
big welcome to @Isfar Islam , @Nicklas Brahima Fofanah , @Yousef H , @Dylan Cross and @Shayan Danish 👋 good week for the room. a CEO, a founder building agent products, and three people I know nothing about yet – which is the part I like most. quick intro, one line each is plenty: → what you do, and for how long → the one task in your week you'd hand to an agent first that second one matters. it's usually exactly where your first build is hiding – and we help you build it. a few guesses to make it easy: @Isfar Islam – running a company. is it the weekly update you write for everyone else, or the inbox? @Dylan Options – if the name is a hint, the morning spreadsheet you rebuild by hand? @Yousef H – you're building agent products for companies. what's the hardest part of getting a non-technical customer to trust one? @Nicklas Brahima Fofanah @Shayan Danish – what's on the building menu? wrong guesses welcome – correcting me counts as an answer 😄 welcome aboard. your experience, multiplied. 💛
the bug wasn't the login 🔑
a client wrote this morning. she'd spotted a small mistake on her own site – a typo, two minutes of work – and she couldn't get in to fix it. so she sat there waiting for me. over a typo. the login was broken, sure. that part I can fix in an hour. but that isn't the actual bug. the actual bug is that I built her something that still needs me. no password reset. no way back in on her own. one forgotten login and the whole thing quietly went back to being my problem instead of hers. I shipped her a tool and accidentally kept the keys. so today I'm building the boring part. real accounts, a forgotten-password flow, a code by email, and a record of who changed what. nothing clever about any of it. it's just the part that means she never has to write to me again to fix her own typo. it also moved my definition of done. "it works" isn't it. "she can run it without me" is. that's my day 👇 what are you working on today? doesn't have to be impressive – half-built, stuck, or just annoying all count. say what it is and I'll tell you the honest fastest way I'd point Claude at it. if it's something I've already built, I'll just send you how I did it. @Joao Carvalho – blog helper v2, or something new? @Uzair Nazeer – anything on the factory-data side this week? @Katerina Bakunina – did the image-style thing get any further? your experience, multiplied. 💛

@Joao Carvalho yes.. life is happening and I totally can relate - kids and house = sometimes all unexpected happens. I like your angle though bringing different styles to your tool.. curious to see more. Will be happy to test some elements as well so feel free to share!

@Aaron Williams this is amazing application that is probably saving you a lot of time compared to doing manual research and webinar material for presentation. feel free to share some progress - curious to see how it shapes ;)
the first job you hand over should be beneath you 🧹
if you joined and still haven't opened Claude Code, this one is for you. what stalls people isn't the tool. it's the size of the first job they picked. you would never hand a new junior your hardest problem on day one. you'd give them something small, watch how they handled it, and learn how to brief them properly on the way. same move here. so don't start with the thing you'd be proud of building. start with the thing you're slightly embarrassed still takes you twenty minutes. renaming a folder of files one at a time. rewriting the same email you've written thirty times. cleaning up a spreadsheet somebody else exported badly. pulling the same numbers into the same table every friday. open Claude Code in the folder where that job actually lives. describe it in one sentence, in plain english. let it do it. that is the entire first session. you're not trying to build something impressive. you're trying to watch it work once – so it stops being an idea you read about and becomes a tool on your bench. small first. the big one gets easier after, and it gets easier because of this. tonight: pick the job, open that folder, one sentence. then tell me – what's the last twenty-minute thing you did by hand that you're a little embarrassed took twenty minutes? mine: renaming screenshots by hand for the showcase page (Claude is AMAZING at naming images and sorting) 💯 your experience, multiplied. 💛
