🚀 You Can Test a Website Without Even Opening It.
🚀 You Can Test a Website Without Even Opening It. Sounds strange? But this is exactly where API Testing comes in. 👀 Most beginners start QA by testing what they can see: 🌐 Login page 🛒 Shopping cart 📱 Mobile screens 🔘 Buttons & forms But what happens behind those screens? When you click Login, the application might send: ➡️ A request to an API ➡️ Your username & password ➡️ Authentication details ➡️ A response from the server And as a QA Engineer, you need to know how to test all of that. That's where Postman becomes incredibly useful. 🔥 With API testing, you can learn how to: ✅ Send GET, POST, PUT & DELETE requests ✅ Validate API responses ✅ Check status codes ✅ Test request parameters ✅ Work with headers & authentication ✅ Write API test scripts ✅ Find bugs that UI testing may miss 💡 Here's a simple QA challenge: Imagine you have a login API: POST /api/login What would you test? Would you only check: ❌ "Does login work?" Or would you also test: ✅ Correct username + password ✅ Wrong password ✅ Missing password ✅ Invalid email ✅ Empty fields ✅ Unauthorized requests ✅ Response status code ✅ Response time That's the difference between simply using an application and actually testing it. 🎯 If you're currently learning Software Testing, API Testing should be one of the next skills you add to your QA toolkit. 👇 Comment "API" if you want a beginner-friendly API testing challenge. #APITesting #Postman #SoftwareTesting #QA #QualityAssurance #TestAutomation #ManualTesting #SoftwareTester #QAEngineer #Testing

🚨 Most Beginners Learn Selenium the WRONG Way
They start by memorising commands: 👉 click() 👉 send_keys() 👉 find_element() 👉 get() …and then wonder why Selenium feels confusing. 😵‍💫 Here’s the thing: Selenium is not really about writing commands. It’s about understanding what happens between your code and the browser. 🌐 When you write: driver.find_element(By.ID, "login").click() Do you know what actually happens behind the scenes? Your Python code → Selenium WebDriver → Browser Driver → Browser → Web Page And that’s where things start getting interesting. 🔥 Once you understand this flow, concepts like: ✅ WebDriver ✅ Locators ✅ Browser automation ✅ Waits ✅ XPath ✅ Page Object Model ✅ Automation frameworks become MUCH easier to understand. 🎯 Mini Challenge: Without Googling… What do you think happens between driver.find_element() and the browser actually clicking the element? Drop your answer below 👇 I’ll reply to the most interesting answers. #SoftwareTesting #Selenium #AutomationTesting #QA #QualityAssurance #SoftwareTester #TestAutomation #SeleniumWebDriver #Python #QAEngineer
