Procrastination Was the Door
I just worked with a client around her procrastinating. Not by trying to fix it, but by actually being with what was there. A complete pivot from what she trys to do everyday. First, we explored everything involved in her procrastinating. What she does, how it shows up, the patterns around it. Frustration, stickiness, etc Then we slowed down into her direct experience. At first, it was heavy. Half her body felt empty, sad… almost shut down. The other half more alive… green… moving… even joyful. We stayed with both of those. And as she kept noticing, something started to shift. With some simple breathing, her system settled into a kind of stable, purple peace. From there, everything opened. Her imaginal space filled with beauty. There was more room, more ease. And from that place, the tasks she had been avoiding didn’t feel the same anymore. No pressure or attachment. Just a sense that she could move through them naturally almost effortlessly. She will practice a memory reconsolidation practice for the next 5 hours to lock this shift in and touch back with it each day for a while until it becomes natural to experience. ______________________________________________________________________________ Want the same experience? Start with what actually shows up in your body the moment you start to avoid something?
@Brad Weyant Real capability works the same way. Not by pushing through — by getting still enough to read what's actually in front of you. Good work, Brad.
The Speed of Decision
High-performers make decisions with 70% of the information; the 97% wait for 100% and miss the window. The speed of your decision-making is a direct indicator of your authority. What is one decision you’ve been "overthinking" that you just need to make today?
Seen this play out on the water. Three channels. Fading light. Water dropping. You can stand there running scenarios — or you can pick the one that makes sense and move. Waiting for certainty doesn't get you certainty. It gets you dark.
Day 5 — Sitting Practice
Same sit. 5–10 minutes. Today notice the moments where you try to adjust the experience. Trying to focus, calm down, or to do it “right.” See if you can catch that as it happens. And for a moment let it go. Nothing to manage. Just sitting… as it is. What did you notice yourself trying to change?
This is extremely hard to do, My mind runs 90 to nothing with youtube, skool, the 2 apps I'm build, my day job. home life. But the time just sitting does allow me to get my mind focused and plan organized good enough to get it written or should I say typed in.
What are you working on right now?
Not the polished version or where you want it to end up, but what’s actually in motion for you. Could be something in your business, something personal, or just a way you’re showing up differently this week. Share whatever feels real for you.
Putting the final touches on the finance app that I’ve been building that’s in testing mode and starting the groundwork for the CWS app
Day 3 — Sitting Practice
Same as the last two days. 5–10 minutes. Sit down. No technique. Nothing to change. Nothing to improve. Just notice what’s here again. Maybe it feels different today or something else comes up. Either way, just sit. Curious, what did you notice this time?
@Brad Weyant I still am amazed every time I see a plane in the sky.
@Brad Weyant I saw my first one a couple years ago in San Fran, I was amazed. it pulled up to the red light and only people sitting in the back sit.
