We saved everything and still almost missed early retirement
We used to make good money and save diligently. But our money just sat in bank accounts and retirement accounts while we watched others grow their wealth in ways we didn't understand. It sucked because we felt too embarrassed to ask for help without looking foolish while working at an investment bank. We lived through the 2001 and 2008 market crashes but, investing felt too risky for people like us because we grew up without money. But then, in business school, we learned portfolio theory. We realized most mutual funds were largely a waste of time and that we could manage our own money better ourselves. Which led us to managing our own portfolios, achieving over 22% returns, building $10K+/month in passive income through real estate and the stock market, and retiring at 34. Want to know how we did it? Reply YES and I’ll DM you the details.

Hello community I have a question. I currently have a Roth IRA with Fidelity and it's a Robo advisor account where it builds my portfolio itself. I'm very limited in what I can do with the account. The only changes that I can make is how aggressive I want the account to be. I had this account before I discovered the twins on u-tube. Should I keep this account?

I love the phrase financial freedom. Understanding that financial freedom don't mean a get rich quick scheme, but a means to have choices and to be able to continue to move forward despite uncertain circumstances. Financial freedom is not just stemmed on how much money you make or have, it's what you do with what you have. I was taught that the power of money is manifested by way your hands pushes it. Our lives is about the choices we make and I know sometimes those choices can be challenging, but always remember when we make sound decisions they are much rewarding in the future. My grandmother would always tell me to work hard now and play later. Much appreciation to these good hearted women who is taking time out of their busy lives and schedule having the passion to share and teach those who desire to know the details and truth of financial freedom. Remember Jesus Christ said "and ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free".
