Today’s Lesson: The Parable of the River and the Rock
A mighty river flowed down from the mountains, carving its way through valleys and forests. Along its path stood a massive rock, unmovable and strong. The river crashed against it, but the rock wouldn’t budge. At first, it seemed like the rock had won. But over time, the river kept flowing—steady, persistent, unstoppable. Days turned into years, years into centuries, and slowly, the rock wore down, reshaped by the water’s determination. Lesson? Being unstoppable isn’t about force—it’s about consistency. You don’t have to be the loudest, the strongest, or the fastest. You just have to keep going. Challenges may seem impossible now, but with enough persistence, you’ll break through. 💡 What’s something you refuse to give up on? Drop it in the comments! ⬇️🔥

I had been saying I am "waiting" for retirement to get more things going. Lately, I've changed that mind shift saying, "I need to get it going "NOW" so within a year I will have most things in place! I have started acting on signing up for more skool communities, growing my business in SEO area radius, gearing up for the holidays and even getting things in place to record some videos on teaching, plus much more! - I always slept well - but now - I sleep like a solid rock LOL! I do take a few mins for myself at the beginning and end of each day to journal, burning the candle at all ends and the middle as it's the only way I will be able to get it done using great time management and logic the best I can. 💗

The Unstoppable Leader: A Parable of Resilience and Strategy
A long time ago, a young eagle watched older eagles soar effortlessly through the sky. Determined to be the strongest, it flapped its wings furiously, pushing itself to fly higher and faster. But no matter how hard it tried, it quickly became exhausted and fell back to the lower branches. One day, an elder eagle approached and said, “You are using strength alone. True leaders do not just fight the wind; they learn to ride it.” The young eagle watched and noticed how the elder spread its wings, allowing the wind to carry it higher with minimal effort. From that day forward, the young eagle learned to work with the currents instead of against them, soaring to heights it once thought impossible. Are you exhausting yourself by pushing against every obstacle, or are you learning to rise with strategy and wisdom? How to Be an Unstoppable Leader: 1. Adapt to the Winds of Change – Instead of resisting challenges, learn to pivot and use them as momentum for growth. 2. Sharpen Your Vision – Great leaders don’t just react; they anticipate. Plan ahead and set clear goals. 3. Leverage Your Strengths and the Strengths of Others – True leadership isn’t about doing everything alone; it’s about empowering a strong team. 4. Rest and Reflect – Even eagles take breaks to conserve energy. Recharge so you can lead with clarity and endurance. 5. Stay Unshaken by Fear – Fear is just wind resistance. The higher you rise, the stronger it may feel—but if you lean into it, it can lift you even higher. So, are you flapping wildly, exhausting yourself with resistance, or are you learning to soar?

I really need to read this today! It is something that I always keep in mind. Using my knowledge and abilities as a strategy and not fight against the wind. 💗
You Are Stronger Than Your Setbacks
Years ago, I felt stuck, overwhelmed, and unsure of how to move forward. I had big dreams but kept hitting roadblocks. Every setback felt like proof that I wasn’t meant to succeed. But I refused to let my circumstances define me. I started taking small, consistent steps—learning from failures, pushing through self-doubt, and surrounding myself with people who believed in me. Now, I’ve built a life and business I once thought was out of reach. That’s why I created this free community—to give you the support, encouragement, and strategies I wish I had when I was struggling. This isn’t just a place for motivation; it’s a space for real transformation. Here, you will gain the mindset, tools, and strategies to rise above your challenges and take control of your future. We rise together! What’s one challenge you’ve overcome that made you stronger? Share it in the comments!

I feel that every life trial makes us stronger if we can choose to learn what we can and grow from it. My biggest challenge in life was living on my own when I turned 16 with no family but refused to quit high school! I worked a full-time job 3 -11 Tues - Saturday and a part time job Sat & Sun 6am to 2pm. With little time to no time for homework, my grades fell from straight A's to C's & D's. I had little time to go food shopping and no time for friends. It was a very hard and lonely time in my life, but I made it through as I refused to give up on my dreams and goals of going to collage to make a better life for myself. One year after graduation, I applied and was accepted into collage, so I commuted back and forth to UConn, and continued working my full-time job. My dreams came true as I grew stronger. It filled and shaped my personality with encouragement, kindness, empathy, good work ethics, good time management skills, imagination and determination as I continued to persevere. 💗

@Dr. Lisa Drew yes, I think back on those days at times. It reminds me of my sheer determination and strength. It was such an exhausting time, but it did build confidence in my character that I will hold onto for the rest of my life 💗
