#1 for sure, especially if it’s to get people into our community. Seems like the video should have a GSD, right?
🐾 A Real Story. A Hard Decision. Let’s Talk About It. 💬
A few days ago, a friend of mine faced a decision that many of us might never expect to have to make... He lives in an apartment with his loyal dog — a true companion, always by his side. But his cousin lives out in the country, surrounded by open land, horses, other dogs, chickens, pigs… the whole scene. 🌾🐕 Every time he takes his dog to visit, he sees something change. His dog comes alive — running free, playing with the other animals, guiding the chickens, keeping the pigs in check, even escorting the horses. There’s purpose. Joy. Work. Instinct. 🐴🐓 Yesterday he told me, with a heavy heart,“I think my dog might be happier there… than with me.” He’s torn. Because he loves his dog — but he also wants the best for him. 💭 What would YOU do in that situation?Would you keep your dog with you, because love and connection matter most?Or would you consider letting them live where they seem most in their element — even if it means letting go? This isn’t an easy question — and there’s no one right answer. But I’d love to hear your thoughts. ❤️👇 #ShepherdStories #LoyaltyAndLove #WhatWouldYouDo

It reminds me of being a parent and watching your children grow up and move out. You know you need to let them move on. You’ve given them all your love and care. You know you need to let them grow into who they were meant to be. And you’re going to give them exactly what they need, no doubt. But all that said, it still doesn’t make it any easier.

@Elizabeth Foutch That’s nuts, isn’t it?! I mean, logic says that a dog wouldn’t know what you’re saying—BUT we know differently, don’t we Cochise! 🐾

Snug as a bug in a rug! (Ok, Xena doesn’t typically sleep like this, but my son tucked her all in and it was too cute to not share!)
🤣 Meme Monday: German Shepherd Mood of the Day 🐾
You ever tell your GSD “no”… and suddenly you’re the villain in their life story? 😅The side-eye, the sigh, the judgment — it’s award-worthy drama every time! 🎭🐺 Which GSD mood are YOU today? A) The side-eye B) The overdramatic flop C) The zoomie tornado D) The noble guardian who still cries when left alone for 3 minutes 😂 📸 Drop your own GSD meme below or tag someone who lives with this level of drama!
