Advice on passing 50K eval
Hello! I have been trying to pass my 50k eval for the past 43 days now. I almost passed it but then almost blew it as well. Since then, I have only been trading 1 contract per trade on MES fearing I would blow my account. My drawdown is currently 700+. My # of trades vary from 3-10 per day. I have not blown my account, and I make profits but on red days it's really bad and back to square one and feel like I am going nowhere with just one contract per trade. Any tips/advice from those who have gone through the same? How long did it take you to pass 50k eval? Also don't want to trade ES for now. Thanks so much!

Yeah, I have max 1-3 trades a day. Getting to 10 I would have a hard time believing there is 10 A+ setups a day. Suggestion - grate your setups A+, A, B, C. And only take A+.
First Prop Firm Payout
Started March 31st, early mornings (Hawaii), blew through a few accounts, but I finally reached the point where I could request a payout from APEX! I expect a few accounts to follow tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing the deposit hit the bank account :). I plan to trade using other accounts tomorrow to not risk the payout being denied. I requested the payout after reaching a $50k EOD balance exceeding $53,600 ($52.1k DD limit + $1,500 max 1st payout). So thankful to InvestCEO, @Kyle Henris, the coaches, coach @Stephen Gerald Onyia, and the rest of the InvestCEO team that keeps this system running!

🎯 Friday Fuel-Up: Emotional Trading Is Expensive
One of the fastest ways to drain an account has nothing to do with strategy. It comes from letting emotions take the wheel. Revenge trading after a loss. Forcing setups that were never really there. Taking trades out of boredom just to feel involved. Trying to “make back” money the market already took. That’s not trading. That’s reacting. The market has a way of exposing emotional decisions quickly. One impulsive trade can undo days or even weeks of disciplined progress. Strong traders understand something important. Not every feeling deserves an action. Just because you feel frustrated doesn’t mean you need another trade. Just because you feel impatient doesn’t mean you force an entry. Just because you want to recover quickly doesn’t mean the market owes you an opportunity. Professional trading requires emotional control just as much as technical skill. The goal isn’t to eliminate emotions. The goal is to stop them from leaking into execution. 🚀 Slow down. Protect your mindset. Protect your capital. The traders who last are the ones who stay calm enough to make decisions from discipline instead of emotion. — Coach Stephen

Spot on!
Payout
Got approved for my first ever payout from Apex. Took me a year and a half! Blew so many accounts it’s crazy. But I never game up. I’ve gotten paid out from other firms, but I kept on blowing it with Apex. Definitely stoked I was finally able to get “there.”

🎯 Friday Fuel-Up: Trust the Reps
There’s a phase in trading that tests almost everyone. You’re showing up. You're following your plan. You're putting in the work. But the results? They’re not showing up the way you expected. This is where most people start to question everything. The strategy. The process. The path they’re on. But here’s the truth. Progress in trading doesn’t always show up immediately in your PnL. It shows up first in your habits. In your discipline. In your decision making. Every time you follow your rules, you’re building something. Every time you manage risk correctly, you’re reinforcing control. Every time you stay patient, you’re strengthening your edge. Those reps are stacking, whether you see it yet or not. The market doesn’t reward effort instantly. It rewards consistency over time. And the traders who make it are the ones who keep showing up long enough for those reps to turn into results. Stay the course. Stay disciplined. Let the work compound. 🚀 Trust the reps. The results are catching up. — Coach Stephen
