My Design process …
First, let me say that my thing is designing peyote bracelet patterns. This is evident when you look at the bead vaults in the classroom. I am learning with other types of beading projects. For my zigzag bracelet, I had in my mind that I was going to add all kinds of intricate beading to it. Soooo, I gathered up every bead I have in the 3 colors. Then I just felt overwhelmed. So I decided to just do the basic bezel for the cabochon . I had imagined something really fancy, but when I put what I had done on the bracelet, I thought- “Nope! I like it simple”

I have an idea...
So, let's face it, the monthly Q&A calls are tedious. I've been doing this for over a year now, I've tried different days/times, I tried making them informational, etc. The best response is 3 or 4 people and we mostly stare at each other for an hour. I love seeing you guys face-to-face, but after we've met once, there isn't much appeal to keep you coming back each month. You guys ask your questions in the community so there usually isn't a burning question waiting to be answered. I'm happy to keep doing them, it's only an hour out of my month, but I feel like it's not bringing much value to you. So, what if I turned it into a podcast format? I would love to interview people connected to the beading industry. Designers, store owners, people who sell the jewelry they bead, people who make 'supplies' for beaders (like me), show organizers, etc. Whoever joins the call live can ask questions through the chat. The calls will be recorded/posted for everybody, but only premium/VIP members can join it live. I am still here through the community or the chat to help you, if needed, but there are so many people in the community with way more experience then me to help with whatever you need. I think I will interview myself first 😁to work out the tech kinks and the logistics of posting it to skool/youtube/podcast. But I would love to start lining people up. If I get enough, I will do them biweekly. If you, or someone you know, has a business or works for a business, that is connected to beading - fill out the attached form. - https://forms.gle/mSe2WJUNah1nPDhP7

It’s Finally Finished!
17 weeks and about 60 hours later I finally finished my carousel box! Pattern is by Beadingnbeyond on Etsy. You need to be very comfortable with peyote, I had to extrapolate a couple of times in the pattern cause it wasn’t real clear, But it’s a beautiful piece! The opening at the top (with the purple rim) is meant for a tea light

Fantastic, very pretty
Beaded Eagle Feather
A very dear friend asked me to bead her eagle feather (yes she is native) to give to her daughter for her military retirement Tuesday ( she called me Thursay evening 🥴). We picked the pattern Friday afternoon, and she was ok with me doing it on the loom since I didn’t have enough time to do it in peyote. I would have liked it better in Delicas in peyote, but I couldn’t get the pattern right in the small diameter with the Delicas. But I finished it this evening.
