Do you stumble on words?
Do you sometimes stumble on words that you thought you had mastered in past? One word that I had a hard time pronouncing lately has been the word negligible. What are your words?

I don't get on along with words such as: tough, thought, through, thought, although and so on...

I’d love to hear from you. 1️⃣ Where do you currently feel most stuck in English? (Pronunciation, confidence, meetings, fast speech, something else?) 2️⃣ What are you most excited to improve here? 3️⃣ And honestly — what would make this community work even better for you? Be direct. I’m building this with you, not for you.

2) Improving here is exciting because I can improve together with other people who have my same interests, without feeling too much shame 3) I like that is an informal way to improve prononciation improving also conversation fluency, without need to feel shy, because every level is wellcome. Maybe the prononciation topic can be combined to a more general topic: for example for the sounds S and Z the topic "shopping and money" and during our conversation we have to use some given words such as "prise, prize, sale, size...". Moreover, maybe some people can't stay connected for 1 hour, so we can also try 45 minutes. Only some ideas as inspiration. Bye

@Pradeep Jayatilaka Hello Pradeep, in my opinion you can improve your communication skills while improving pronunciation, which is important to make yourself understood. Otherwise it could be that you improve your speaking fluency but mispronouncing. Having a general topic can help finding some words and learning to think in English. Try with us.
Coffee hour tonight feb 24
Hey everyone. I’ve had an unexpected family situation come up and I need to take care of my kids, so I won’t be able to run tonight’s Coffee Hour at 9:00. I’m really sorry for the short notice and any inconvenience. We’ll reschedule it for Thursday or Friday — I’ll confirm the exact day and time tonight or tomorrow morning.. 🙏☕️ Ps…any suggestions are more than welcome 🤗
