Hi, After 35 wonderful years working as a Chartered Management Accountant, life threw me a curveball in 2021 when I was hospitalised with Covid. The months that followed were challenging, and my recovery gave me plenty of time to think about what really mattered to me. With the big 6-0 on the horizon, I found myself reflecting on my personal bucket list - the things I'd always dreamed of doing but had put off for "someday." Right at the top of that list was music. Music has always held a special place in my heart. I loved being part of the school choir, and at fifteen I joined the St Ives Arts Club after being invited following a local pantomime performance. But like many young boys, when my voice broke, my confidence disappeared overnight. Life moved on, and music quietly took a back seat. About thirty years ago, I began writing lyrics - capturing stories, emotions, and ideas that I felt were worth sharing. Sadly, without any musical training, I couldn't take those songs further at the time. But technology has changed everything. Today, I can finally bring those songs to life in ways I never thought possible. Hearing my words transformed into real music has been nothing short of magical - it's a long-held dream starting to come true. For me, songwriting isn't just about creating music; it's about sharing powerful messages. Many of my songs tell stories that I feel need to be heard. And now, at this stage of my life, I want my music to do more than entertain - I want it to make a difference. That's why many of my songs carry a charitable angle, supporting causes that help those less fortunate. I have founded a company Songs Repertoires and Productions Limited and this is the beginning of my exciting new chapter. It's a journey fuelled by passion, purpose, and the belief that it's never too late to follow your dreams - and maybe even change a few lives along the way.
