i was born again in 1993 at 33 .i became a youth pastor in 1995 i went to Bible College in 2003 my wife and i pioneered our first church in oct/05 ..Worshiping God in Christ has always been my Passion. so i picked up the Guitar in 2015 at 55 with a desire to do Worship in the Church, until i found out Playing Guitar was not that simple..and it seems everybody wanted to teach me to play Secular music as the only way to learn Guitar..NOT for me! My Mom was a Drug addict and i was raised in the outlaw motorcycle world That was my life skills. I spent a good part of my younger adult years behind bars Because of it. so when God called me out of darkness and into the Kingdom of His Dear Loved Son..That is all i wanted to sing about, and so my Journey began to Learn Guitar without secular Music. Not the best way to learn..it has been a tuff trail. i quit several times until a couple of years ago when i Joined Steve Stine at GuitarZoom Academy here on the Skool Platform...i have had the opportunity to learn Guitar without learning Secular Music,,So imagine my Surprize when i found Guitar Revival on Skool .. PLAYING GUITAR TO WORSHIP JESUS...I am In. Here is a song I wrote about 15 years ago while going through a difficult season of my life. I decided to rise early in the morning to pray and worship God while playing my guitar and this song came out of my soul. It still ministers to my heart when I play it today. I hope it ministers to you, as well. It's a NEW DAY and all things are made new, thanks to God.
