The ongoing expenses with a physical business. I owned 50% of a hookah bar / coffee shop in college and the employee cost, insurance, rent and everything else gets expensive fast. Especially when a major recession hits 6 months after opening lol. I find a digital business has very small startup costs in comparison and you can grow a team cheaper as you are not forced to hire local talent like brick and mortar businesses. The scalability potential online is unreal and my eyes were finally opened to it about 2 months ago.
