@Lado Rot Yes, it's a mystical place. I wrote a poem inspired by the legend of Zlatorog. Maybe you'd like to read it. https://nobettertimethanthis.wordpress.com/2019/10/22/robert-hale-wash-down-to-me-your-rose-in-blood/

🔥 The Power of Fire – Share Your Flame
Fire. The first language of humanity. The first circle we gathered around. 🔥 On the night of May 1st, across many cultures, we light fires — not just to celebrate, but to remember. Fire is transformation. It turns wood into ash, darkness into light, cold into warmth. It consumes… and at the same time, it gives life. Fire is presence. When you sit by it, something ancient awakens inside you. A stillness. A connection. A knowing. Fire is truth. It burns away what is no longer needed. It invites us to release, to let go, to step into a new cycle. For centuries, people have gathered around the May fire — to celebrate life, fertility, change, and the arrival of brighter days. So I ask you… ✨ What does fire mean to you?✨ What awakens in you when you sit by the flames? If you were part of a bonfire, a ritual, or a fire ceremony… share your experience with us. And if you captured the moment —📸 post a photo of your fire in the comments. Let’s create a circle here. A digital fire. A place where stories, memories, and energy can meet.

In Ibiza where I live they celebrate the Night of Saint John, the 23rd June, especially in the village of San Juan. Bonfires are built and wishes are written on paper and thrown into the fire, and people will jump over the fires. Saint John's day is also supposed to be when St John's Wort is most in flower, although of course this varies from year to year.

🌧🍄 WHAT IF FUNGI HELP CREATE RAIN? 🍄🌧
Scientists recently discovered that certain soil fungi can influence the formation of rain and snow. Some species like Fusarium and Mortierella produce special proteins that help water freeze inside clouds. Tiny fungal spores rise into the atmosphere, where they become microscopic seeds for rain droplets and ice crystals. This means forests are not only producing oxygen… They may also be helping to create clouds and rain. 🌲☁️💧 Researchers call this:✨ BIOPRECIPITATION ✨ The idea that life itself participates in weather creation. Fungi, trees, bacteria, moisture, wind and clouds are all connected in one living breathing system. Even Amanita and other mycorrhizal mushrooms may indirectly participate through their deep relationship with forests, water cycles and atmospheric bioaerosols. Perhaps the forest is not just alive… Perhaps it is dreaming the rain. 🍄⚡🌧 What do YOU feel about this connection between fungi, forests and weather? Could nature be far more intelligent and interconnected than we were taught? Share your thoughts below 👇✨ #Fungi #Mycelium #Bioprecipitation #HealingForest #Amanita #NatureIntelligence #PortalOfLightAndPeace #ForestMedicine #LivingEarth

Fascinating information, thank you. Intelligent nature? One would have to define intelligence...

@Lado Rot The capacity for self-regulation might be regarded as a form of innate intelligence. But then, does intelligence require awareness, and if so, what does awareness mean? But the trouble with definitions is that while the narrower they are the more fragmented our vision of the world becomes, on the other hand the broader they are the less discriminatory capacity words possess. The moment we use language we begin to make distinctions between this and that. Boundlessly broad definitions (no definition at all, by definition!) actually eliminate the possibility of communication through language! So as you say, it is a question of where we draw the lines. A corollary is that any useful discussion requires that both or all parties are using the same definitions.
