FO MY BRAIN INJURY MIRACLE Robert Gault 19m • General discussion MY BRAIN INJURY MIRACLE Brain Injury Awareness Month March is brain injury Awareness month.There are many types of brain injuries that can occur and some you may not realize are actual injuries. Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI), caused by external forces like falls, car accidents, concussions, blows to the head. Non-Traumatic Brain Injuries (acquired injuries) resulting from internal factors such as stroke, oxygen deprivation, or tumors. These type of injuries are just as dangerous as traumatic brain injuries. I had a traumatic brain injury in 2013. I passed out and fell off a carport 13ft to the concrete below. it just so happened my body hit first and my head whipped back and hit concrete. The main cause of death of a brain injury is bleeding on the brain. The bleed doesn't happen with every injury. A CT scan must be performed to determine whether you are bleeding on your brain. My first CT scan showed a severe brain bleed. In fact the scan just showed blood and there was way to tell if I had a brain. What had happened was I tore the lining between my skull and brain. All of this had to be told to me by my then fiancé. The Dr's said I probably wouldnt survive and she should prepare for the worst. After surgery I was in a coma for 2 weeks. By God's grace I'm still here. Job 5:9 "He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted" Luke 1:37 "For nothing will be impossible with God.” There are a lot of complications that a person with a brain injury will live with, depending on severity of initial injury, for rest of their life. Migraines, dizziness, loss of use in arm or leg, memory problems, seizures, and more. Another important thing we deal with is abandonment. Many times the person closest to us will leave. Caring for someone with a brain injury is going to be a change of life. Someone you love may not be up for that and will leave you.

Hello everyone. Hope everyone is having a great day. My name is Robert Gault and I'm a Christian counselor called by God in 2013. I spent 15 years struggling with mental health issues, diagnosed bipolar, suicidal thoughts, and pill addiction. In 1998 my Grannie passed away and a light turned off inside of and the darkness began. I did not receive salvation until August of 2013. In December of that year I fell off a roof and roof and suffered a traumatic brain injury. I survived because God saved my life. I was given no chance of survival. I was completely delivered from Bipolar, suicidal thoughts and the addiction. I was called to Christian counseling. I have been counseling at church and different people away from church. I went to school and earned a doctorate degree of Philosophy in Christian counseling. I am also an ordained minister. I have made the decision to take my counseling online and develop it as a business. I just need to get the CRM part finished and the website will be ready to go.
