Moving on...
I started my journey into kettlebell fitness with Coach Marchman and it has been a great journey, in part, as it has helped me come back stronger than ever. Well, maybe not 50 years ago 'ever' but certainly very strong for a 60+ now almost 72 year old kind of guy. I am going on to something like this: Mon – strength Tues – HIIT Weds – strength Thurs – long cardio Fri – Spartan 300 workout Sat – Strength and long cardio Sun – rest / recover Strength and Honor to all of you!

@Donald Griffin It's basically an MRT, 300 reps, fast-paced, metabolic-conditioning. The exercises will vary week by week. This week: 5 rounds of: 10 pushups, 15 swings, 5 cleans and presses each arm, 10 lunges each leg, 5 burpees.
Still going...
This morning's workout, unilateral Kb cleans and presses alternating with pullups, regular pullups, rope grip pullups, single rope one hand above the other pullups.

@Gary Smith Start with some good coaching, there are plenty of good ideas out there. I like doing sets of; (1) starting with chin above bar lower about 1/2 way and adding in, (2) starting from a dead hang pull up about 1/2 way, (3) keep doing this until you are meeting in the middle, truly 1/2 way, then lower more than 1/2 half and pullup more than 1/2, eventually you be getting the full lower (super slow) and the full pullup.

@Cor van der Velde thanks man!
Training Update
Yesterday, W4 D4 finished in the morning. Yesterday afternoon, 40 solid minutes of 40 and 50# cleans, clean and presses, snatches, burpee snatches with all cleans and snatches starting at dead bottom zero. Today, 3 mile run with bow and arrows, 6 arrows with 2 of them in the 2 inch bullseye at 30 yards, and on the hilltop workout station; 50 swings with 40#'er and many pullups. At random intervals, I upped my running pace to battle mode. The rest of the day I cut and placed tile in our cabin bathroom. Tomorrow, I will knock out W4 D5 in the morning. Keep driving on!

@Gary Smith I never really liked running with something in my hands. Even one water bottle was kind of irritating. Lately, for the past 4 months or so, I always run with something in my hands. Usually, this is one bow and three or four arrows. Sometimes though, I've run up to 2.6 miles with a 10# sledge, which is kind of cool as well. So, maybe a Viking war axe or something to replace the sledgehammer would be fun.

@Gary Smith I sort of lucky in that regard. I have no neighbors off to the west, north, or south. I was running one day and a back road with bow and arrows and ran into someone on a horse.
After 90 Days of Challenges - I am a different man
I joined in on the 30 day farmer's carry challenge, only because I like challenges and it seemed hard and it was. Little did I know that doing carries, in addition to my normal workouts, for 30 days would make me stronger. The 30 day swing challenge, seemed insane, so I signed up. In the end, the benefits were unbelievable, I'll say again, unbelievable. This more recent 30 day challenge - it has been just fabulous. After these nearly 90 days of challenges, my fitness is like day and night.

@Cor van der Velde Specifically, I haven't quite decided, I usually find something that fits my goals along with my personality. But, the competitions I sign up for usually guide me along certain paths, for instance I have a Spartan Race in 3 weeks. I have to show up at least competent.
30 Day Challenge Complete
That was this morning. Now, some more snatches, cleans, and pullups!
