Hi there! I just took mine yesterday online and honestly, there were pros and cons. The breaks went by pretty quickly, but I made sure I got up and moved around and grabbed a drink of water. I did step outside to get some fresh air and re-center myself, especially after the first part of the exam which was difficult for me. The biggest con was that my internet went out while I was 2/3 of the way through. I was thankfully able to get back in, but I did freak out and lose about ten minutes. This is after I ran multiple systems tests prior to exam day and everything came back fine. I’d say that’s the biggest risk. If I were to do this again, I’d probably do it at a testing center. But being comfortable in my own space was a plus! I booked my exam last month, but I think you can book yours pretty quickly. I just gave myself a month to prepare and study for it. I took my exam yesterday and got my results about an hour ago, so it was a quick turnaround even though it felt like forever. When you get to the very last question, it’ll ask you a few times if you’re sure you want to submit it, and once you get past that part, it ends. Here’s my overall advice: remember the mindset! Get the PMI study hall if you don’t have it already, that’s the closest thing you’ll get to the exam. Get a good nights sleep and make sure it’s quiet and empty around you. Hope this helps! Good luck!
