I've been working with a lot of companies recently on data protection rollouts leveraging Microsoft Purview. Given the exposure and how much Microsoft has changed things over the last year, I've been building a more wholistic framework that you could leverage as a repeatable process with most businesses. In my opinion, solutions like DLP and sensitivity labels are some of the hardest things to implement AND get adoption. In fact, 61% DLP deployments that are disabled or in monitor-only mode within 12 months of production deployment. As I wrap up a guide, I wanted to see: 1. 1. Cowork in Microsoft Copilot became GA today. I've been using it in early access for months and its pretty amazing BUT Microsoft changed the billing model for usage credits on top of the monthly user subscription. This changed the game to a non-starter for most small businesses in my opinion.
