After a full day of teaching in the dojo, I'm in this frame of mind. We can know the terms and the kata and the moves by heart, but applying the wisdom comes from repetitively watching and studying your instructor perform the same moves with experience and nuance. It's true that wisdom is grown through struggle, but it's also passed down. So, that is my vote. The coaching workshops are invaluable. This last Friday's live session was a great example.

My most difficult struggle to overcome has been analysis paralysis, which I guess is just fancy fear of failure.
