Agency License Question?
When you say that we can "Use the same WordPress + MediaBlaster + Roku workflow across client projects," Does that mean one WordPress installation can be used for more than one channel? Or does it mean we can clone the setup to reinstall and set up different WordPress sites for additional channels? I believe that if you have a client who wants to manage their own channel, we can install and set up a stand-alone WordPress site for them. But I thought: if I wanted to set up more than one channel for myself, can we use just do one setup and installation of WordPress? I think I know the answers, but I figured I'd ask! I understand we can use the MediaBlaster Launch kit as a repeatable foundation to package the Roku channel! And I believe we have to install and set up a WordPress installation for each channel!

Great question, Joe. The Agency License can be activated on multiple WordPress sites. You simply use the same license key for each installation. For managing multiple channels, the best setup I’ve found is WordPress Multisite. You install WordPress once, then create a separate subsite for each channel or client. Each channel has its own content and configuration, but everything runs from one base WordPress system. You can also install MediaBlaster on completely separate WordPress installations. That works, but managing plugins, updates, backups, and security across numerous installations can quickly become a nightmare. With WordPress Multisite, you get: - One central WordPress installation to maintain - A separate subsite for every channel or client - Much easier plugin and system updates - Cleaner separation between each channel - The option to charge clients a monthly hosting and management fee Each Roku channel still gets packaged and submitted as its own app, but the WordPress and MediaBlaster side can be managed from the same Multisite network. If a client prefers to control their own hosting and WordPress installation, you can certainly set up a standalone site for them instead. For channels you manage yourself, though, I would strongly recommend the Multisite approach.

Sort of. The VIP section here gives you access to all of our upcoming paid courses. We also plan on doing a monthly call where VIP customers can jump on with me and discuss what we should do next, ask questions about their projects, etc. I'm hoping to have something setup in the next few weeks to start utilizing the VIP section.

Do you have, or are you going to have, an affiliate sign-up for sales of the MediaBlaster Launch kit offers? I have clients and fellow developers who may like the kit, and although I have an agency license, I thought I could also offer the kit as an affiliate!
