Workflows and Multiple Tools
Hey, team! 🏛️ I'm curious about your approach to using multiple tools alongside Tana. Do you rely exclusively on Tana or integrate it with other tools? If you use a combination, could you share your workflow and how you synchronize everything with Tana? I'm eager to hear about your experiences and strategies. For example, currently: - Notes: Obsidian is used to connect ideas, write drafts and articles, and then move some notes to Craft (Craft is where I save the last version of my articles). - Bullet Journal / University Notes: Capacities. - Calendar: Akiflow. - ToDo List / Habit Tracker: TickTick. - Bookmarks: Raindrop. About Tana, I'm still learning (using it for some notes), but I plan to use it instead of Capacities. Thanks!

@Santi Younger Yaaasss, I’ve switched to Tana from Capacities. Are you using any apps to track your habits, or do you not find them necessary? I tried Morgen, but I don't know, I didn't like it. I like Akiflow, but I’m still exploring other options like Amie—its UI is nice. Wow, 3.5K! I have about 2K. 😂 I feel the same way; I tried switching to another tool (Capacities, saving the bookmarks there) but ended up sticking with Raindrop because of all the data I’ve saved there. I’ve been considering combining Heptabase with Tana for my university research, and it seems really useful. And thank you for your suggestions!

@Santi Younger Yup! I had that issue: "When you can't remember what is where." That's why I'm using Heptabse only for University. "For habit tracking, I gotta say I still haven't found something I'm happy with." I have the same issue!! I use Android and iOS. Haha. As a product designer, I need to test some designs on both OS. How do you study? Do you use Active recall, spaced repetition, flashcards, etc? I'm asking because, in the past, I was using RemNote.

Hey team))) - I found Tana through: I honestly don't remember when I learned about Tana, but I was blown away by what it could do. I even signed up for Santi's course but stopped using the tool after a while. - I've been using Tana to Take notes for college, explore functionality, manage things properly, and be more organized. - Before Tana, I was using: Well, I'm still using Obsidian. I think it's my favorite tool so far because of all the options it has, plus it's offline and local; however, I also use Capacities since I like the perspective that unlike Tana, where everything is a node, in Capacities, everything is an object.

@Greg Gallagher Hey Greg! Thanks for sharing your thoughts—I agree with you. As a Product Designer/Developer, I use Notion for specific tasks like managing Design System documentation. While Tana has great potential, its learning curve can be challenging compared to other tools. What's your perspective on tools that work "Offline" and "Locally"? Do you prioritize any specific features? Also, you might find AnyType interesting; it organizes everything as objects too. Worth a look! Skål!
