Love it. This is a brave step, and my heart is happy for you. Every time we walk beyond the edge of what is familiar, we bring a little more beauty, wisdom, and possibility into the world. And if I may offer two thoughts, spoken with care. First: be gentle with yourself. You remind so many of us to do that, and I hope you remember to turn that medicine toward your own heart. You are already doing so well. Growth is beautiful, but so is resting in the place where your feet are today. Not every season asks us to push forward; some ask us to trust where we already stand. Even if you decided to never plan more than a few months ahead, if that would feel good to you, WHY NOT?! It’s working :D. I hear you that you’d love to go into more collaboration and connection and I think this will be amazing. So sure you need a little more planning :) - but just wanted to say: there is no “force” - it’s how you decide what’s right for you in this moment. And with this one feels free again :)). At least for me it’s that way. I also deeply relate to the challenge of planning far ahead and thinking, “How do I know who and where I will be then?” What changed everything for me was making a promise to myself: I would never force myself to walk a path that my spirit no longer recognized as true. So yes, I plan. I organize retreats a year in advance. But I also hold those plans with open hands. I remind myself that if life speaks clearly, if something sacred asks for my attention, if my soul says, “Not now,” then I am allowed to listen. I am allowed to change course. The beautiful thing is that I have never actually had to cancel. More often than not, I arrive grateful that the planning was already done, and I can simply step into the work I love. But my nervous system needed to know that I was free. It needed the reassurance that no calendar, expectation, or obligation would ever have more authority than my inner truth. There is an old Native teaching that says we should walk in balance—one foot in intention, one foot in trust. Planning gives direction; surrender gives wisdom. One is not greater than the other.
