Cup Semi-final highlights
Some highlights of Ivor’s saves and distribution in his 3-5 cup Semi-Final win. A very calm measured performance from Ivor. It’s only his 2nd season in goal after playing midfield in his first season. He’s doing really well though. Very proud.

League game at home tomorrow for Ivor. He was supposed to have a league play off semi final on Sunday, but the other team don’t have enough players available, so that is to be rearranged. We have a friendly on Sunday instead.

PARENT ZONE - WEEK 2 - Strapping Wrists And fingers!
Parents, one of the questions i have been ask a load of times, is parents wanting help and advice re their goalkeeper child strapping u their wrists and or fingers... So a couple of years ago, i did this video to help both goalkeepers and parents. I strap my wrists as I had a serious fracture a couple of years ago. I completely snapped the distal radius as well as a bone in my hand in a game. I only tend to strap fingers if I have an injury to a finger. Personally if you have good wrists and fingers and have no prior or existing injury my advice would be not to strap fingers and wrists and build that strength/resistance. I do not strap Ivor’s fingers or wrists and he does not use finger saves either. 👍🏻

@Xavier Stark you learn far more in defeat than in victory. I’m sure next season you will win more games. As you say you seem to be improving as a team. Ivor’s Saturday team started in the top league and have moved down, but they are now performing better than ever and I’m sure it won’t be too long before they are back in the top league again.

@Xavier Stark Ivor’s Sunday team are moving to a different league next season in a different area. No idea what to expect. Looking forward to it though. His Sunday team are a better team, and the league is much stronger.
