What do you do when you get stuck?
For the solo learners out there, what do you use as a tool to help you get unstuck and get moving again after you have encountered some sort of problem? Maybe your idea, your method, might help others as well in this community.

Depending on the season, I’ll go out and get an ice cream cone.🍦

Media Queries Might Be Looking Different Soon
Saw this video by Kevin and new features like inline if() statements and custom @function definitions could let us write responsive styles directly inside a property instead of always using separate media query blocks. CSS nesting can already help reduce repetition today, but these newer features could make responsive CSS even cleaner and more reusable. Right now, support is limited, mostly in Chrome, but it’s definitely something worth keeping an eye on. What are your thoughts? Do you like it? So, what is it really good for… A bigger picture item like a future feature that would be needed more flexibility or what???
Still working through the new design
I thought I'd share some progress updates on the application, but here are a couple of new photos, and then you'll see what the current one is that I'm replacing with the new, updated version of the Army Flight Logbook. Am I moving in the right direction? lol

like a scientific notation on a calculator, you might be able to do something new like put in an option to show the number of hours differently like your example snapshot would be 2.3 x 10^3 shown in a way that is "coolish" looking which will continue to leverage your creative genius in you. :)

This small change can help with learning to code
When I was learning to code, I didn't have ChatGPT or any type of artificial intelligence to help. I had to use documentation as well as forum groups and communities in order to help me with my answers. I think if I were to have learned it today fresh, I would definitely be utilizing AI in this way. https://youtube.com/shorts/fGzBZ4kda6E?si=a014z2IUtUCQhzSx?views And in the video, I kind of explain what's going on. Basically, if you are learning something about loops and Python, then I would then turn to ChatGPT and ask the question: Hey, I am learning about loops and Python. Can you give me three mini challenges that could help me solidify what I just learned? Do not give me the solution. I just only need the prompt. And then, if you need a little bit more help, then what I would ask ChatGPT to do is add some pseudocode to help me along the way. And it's going to give you some reminders to help jog your memory on what should be next in order for you to complete the challenge.

I did start using gpt w/out any formal training (2023). An instructor on O'Reilly learning said that if I took a course on programming that I would get things done quicker because then I would know what I was actually asking for. He was correct. I don't struggle with the back and forth like I use to ever since I took the bootcamp on programming.
Website to Desktop App using Portal Connect
So I saw this the other day. It allows you to have your web application and turn it into a native Mac or Windows application. https://portal-connect.com/

My researched first step to unknown software results in the link. From here, I would need to place this on a VM in order to physically test. It won't be for awhile when I'll get the cycles for this. Maybe August. This is all I have for now.
