Happy New Year!
Ladies I sure appreciate your patience this holiday season. Life became very intense for me in Az as I cared for my mom and then my Aunt getting in a car accident and also needing assistance. It was a test for me that I believe some days I did ok and other days I feel like I failed miserably. It was not on my bingo card but I had to learn quickly to play the hand I was given. I am still in Az for a few more weeks at least helping to get both ladies on the road to self sufficiency. Both are doing well. With that being said, I hope to be home sometime early Feb. I am debating revamping the Heaven Bible Study to a once a month Book Club and starting over so others can join in. The bible study “Hearing God” will be a 6 week study and I have the books with me here in Az now to mail out to those who are going to be participating and will do that this week. This will start also after I return. or feel free to dive into on your own. I apologize this didn’t get started in Nov. I am going to hopefully get back to diving into the community and posting more regularly after this week. A lot going on with a lot of driving. Thanks Ladies… I really want to start a coffee chat where everyone can hop on and meet everyone so we can connect with each other. stay tuned on that. Blessings, Becky

Hope everyone is feeling better! We completely understand and can relate to hectic unexpected challenges that change plans. Family comes first, and don't forget to ensure you take moments for yourself to recoup too. Sending hugs and love to you all from the PNW. <3 Happy New Year!

Happy Thanksgiving Week!
I hate to bail on everyone and I wish ya all a happy holiday but right now in this season I am just trying to focus on my moms care and my own health in the midst of it all. I have chosen to only do what I can do until my mom is on the other side of recovery. That is probably about 6 weeks out. So all classes and time devoted to this group unfortunately will be postponed until then or until I can successfully manage both. Thanks all! Happy Holidays and I will be back soon.

Rooted Not Rushed
This is all a learning curve as I learn to produce our bi monthly newsletter. I hope you enjoy and let me know as we go which format you find the most user friendly in the community. This week I have it as a PDF so you can download it and save it for later to work on the journal prompts! :)

Lead From Within
Scripture: “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” — Proverbs 4:23 Leadership isn’t about position—it’s about posture. Every woman leads something: her thoughts, her family, her business, her friends. But real leadership starts inside. When your heart’s cluttered with comparison, hurry, or offense, it spills into everything. Guarding your heart isn’t about shutting people out—it’s about letting God in first. I’ve learned that when I lead from a full heart, I can handle the hard stuff without losing peace. But when I lead from emptiness, even small things knock me off balance. So today, slow down. Step outside if you can. Feel that fresh air, watch the horizon, and invite God into the quiet spaces of your heart. Ask Him to sift what’s not serving your purpose. 🎯 Today’s Challenge: Take ten quiet minutes—no phone, no noise. Ask, “Lord, am I leading from love or from pressure?” 💭 Reflection: What’s one way I can protect my peace today so I can lead better tomorrow? Declaration: “Father, fill my heart with wisdom and gentleness. Let every word and decision flow from Your peace.” Comment “Leading with Heart” in our community and share one thing you’re letting go of to make room for more peace. 👑

One of my favorite Proverbs! <3 I'm letting go of deep sadness and anger in my heart from what I experienced and witnessed the 8-1/2 years I spent boots-on-ground in Afghanistan's warzone; praying for Him to fill that darkness with my Heavenly Father's Hope, Joy and Peace again. Thank you, Jesus <3
