We should study Christian Ethics because _________________.
I believe we have a crisis of Christian Ethics in the Western Church. But that's not the core reason why I believe we should study Christian Ethics. Let me know how you'd finish the sentence. I'll go first. We should study Christian Ethics because in doing so, we obey Jesus in the Great Commission.

@Josh Shelton So yes, the fact that he was a Galilaean is "a" reason for them thinkiing he was with Jesus. (Luke 22:59) Now consider the last part of Mark 14:70. "...Thou art one of them: for thou art a Galilaean, and they speech agreeth thereto." (KJV). I use context to define speech. Based on Matthew and Marks use of speech and following it with Peters reaction - he could not deny the Galilaean aspect, so his only retort as he feared what would occur was to show through conversation (behavior) that he was not "with" Jesus". Fair question, I did not take it as argumentative.

Hello, I'm from everywhere and currently living in Oklahoma. I love collecting and reading theological books and even fables from around the world. John would have to be among my favorites if I had to pick for its theological depth.

Drop your favorite bible study tools/commentaries. šŸ‘‡ Here are 2 of mine šŸ‘‡
-Logos. Bible study software. They have a free version. Great place to get started and start building resources for study. You can purchase different upgrade packages and/or one time books, commentaries, etc. I use it weekly. -New Bible Commentary edited by Gordon J. Wenham, J Alec Moyer, D.A. Carson and R.T. France and their credentials (this is available in Logos). It's a solid overall commentary (in my opinion). I go to commentaries when I need to get someone way smarter than me's take on a passage.

https://www.e-sword.net/ is my favorite. it's free and you can get most of the classic commentaries, various dictionaries, reference books and much more. The newer stuff you would have to pay to download into it though. Even the note taking abilities within are awesome. I also find John Gills Commentary very informative and useful.
