12 contributions to Chic Impact in The World
Responsible Consumption and Production SDGs 12
Zero Waste have direct and indirect financial implications, for companies and individuals; I think is one of the Sustainable goals, which most strongly demonstrates that sustainability means efficiency. And being a Sustainability goal, it shows that Sustainability influences profit, and represents a cashflow optimization strategy. For companies, it strengthens margins, resilience, and market relevance. For families, it improves cashflow, reduces financial stress, and supports long-term stability. Because waste, represents paid-for value that is never fully used. It represents intentional purchasing, structural savings, energy and water efficiency, reducing food lost, material waste; recycling, upcycling; in business, Zero Waste induces new value creation and enhances creativity and innovation. Have you thought about adopting or have you already adopted zero waste mindset in family and/or business? And which of the options mentioned above would be a priority? *image: me & Samsung

@Andra Cretu I changed who I worked for, downsized my home, changed my car to a lower emissions one. I was vegan for a while but admit to resuming eating meat - but at much lower volumes.

On the other side, though, I took my children on a round-the-world trip. I wanted them to see the world as it is now, as I feel we are going to see massive changes in the coming years. I wanted them to see corals - there were only a few left, for the most part it was a wasteland. I wanted them to see that Western life was just one type of lifestyle.
Merry Christmas!!!
I wish for me and for you all: Holidays adorned with holly berries to brighten the souls and the scent of abundant fir trees manifesting prosperity and joy! (photos: me + AI)

Merry Christmas Andra - may 2026 be more sustainable than 2025!
"Cringe"? Or execution knowing the "map"?
Tolerating temporary embarrassment, for example posting in a community when there are only one or two people interested in 😀is often the cost of consistency and of unapplying yet necessary actions to achieve results 🔦 It is a transitional phase between invisibility and competence. At the beginning, effort is disproportionate to feedback. You show up without validation, and that discomfort is unavoidable. In practice, this stage is not about performance but about conditioning/ training yourself to act without external reinforcement. What looks “cringe” in retrospect is often simply unpolished execution under uncertainty. Eventually 😁 What's your general approach in front of the uncertainty and difficulties? We are here change makers trying to get results of our actions, sometimes pioneering and to contribute to A Better World!💫

I am familiar with the cringe zone. It is one that has stopped me before. This time I will cross it and support others over it as well. It is worth noting that others cannot see the cringe - they see competence as yet unrecognised.

@Andra Cretu The costs must be huge. If I think about how many times I have stopped a project I have invested significant amounts of money and time in because of the cringe factor, then think of how many others have either not even started a project because of this, or, like me, abandoned it for the same reason... Those who have succeeded have endured the cringe and kept going until it passed or became cool. The least we can do is support anyone who is moving through this stage with words of encouragement.
The Wonders of The Nature and Climate Change: The Bees
Bees are Sustainable, Wonder, Give us extremely healthy and nutritive products and learn us Sustainability and more reasons to love and to protect the The Nature. Do you know that Bees make the best use of the space they have, building a lightweight but strong honeycomb with the least amount of wax and storing the most honey in the space available? The marvel components of the honey and all the other products; the perfect sync and organization that they have in normal conditions; It is one of the miracle of the Nature and pure Sustainability! They build their honeycombs from wax secreted by glands located on the underside of their abdomens; the honeycomb shape is pure sustainability and pure mathematics; the honey is pure chemistry; etc Climate Change severely impacts bees through habitat loss, because flowers blooming out of sync with bee activity. Rising temperatures disrupt bee body regulation, while unpredictable seasons reduce pollen/nectar quality and availability that generate bee decline. 75% of the world’s flowering plants depend on animal pollinators, and a significant portion of these pollinators is made up of bees. Without bees, many of the foods we enjoy and the plants that provide habitat for wildlife would be at risk. What can we do especially to protect and save the Bees, beside to tackle Climate Change negative aspects? What example of the Wonder of Nature impresses you in a special way?

Sustainability embedded in Core Business Values
When Sustainability is included in core business values of a Sustainable Business 😎 If you think about what would you prioritize in your core professional activity, linked to Sustainability, in order to influence a change, what would it be? 1) help environment 2) help people 3) help policies, regulations, digitalization, critical thinking

All three - align the values of the company strategies to meet the needs of the people and the planet. Real sustainability will become ever more critical in the coming years and will be sought out by consumers. Getting ahead of the game with a clear and mature strategy is a smart move. Less of "we will be" and more of "we are expanding on".
