Advice
Help i need advice im not a keeper but try and learn what I can to help my son Corey, Corey loves being a keeper and is good at his job but 1v1 he's always worried about getting chipped he has the confidence to come out but always hates getting chipped

Best way to go about it for me is if you are going to commit and come out just make sure you come out quick and make yourself as big as possible , and do your best if you commit fast it generally puts the attacker off and makes them rush . But in the end if they manage to chip you don’t worry and reset . Don’t worry about what might happen at the end of the day you are the last line of defence for the team .

Hope everyone’s weekend went well . Super proud of my daughter played out of her skin to day at a festival played against some tough opposition with a young team in front of her and she pulled out some cracking saves .

JUST4PARENTS - ADVICE SECTION
Guys, I have been thinking… There are a lot of goalkeeper parents in this community, so I have decided to create a new section called Just4Parents. Over the years, I have laughed and cried with thousands of goalkeeper parents, so I truly understand how hard it can be to help your child on their goalkeeping journey. And please do not ever feel embarrassed by that. Goalkeeping is a very specialist position. Unless you have actually played in goal yourself, it can be very hard to fully understand what your child is going through, what they need, and the best way to support them. That is exactly why I have created this section. Once a week, I will post tips, advice, and support to help you better understand your goalkeeper child and help them move closer to their dreams. This will also be a place where parents can share their own experiences, support each other, and realise they are not alone. So if you are a parent of a goalkeeper and you need help, please post your questions in this section. We are here to help you. You do not have to go through this goalkeeper journey alone anymore. PS: Here are the most asked questions from parents over the years - I have answered via visa - https://j4ksports.com/pages/free-advice-for-parents
