Not a specific content question but just wondering how yall deal with heavy emotions, especially the ones connected to your art and doing your best to get it expressed on the platforms you dream of. Sometimes I deal with hella doubt, frustration and even grief, I’ve been learning to contain it with meditation and motivation in the gym. Being a part of this community has helped me a lot. What do yall do to stay up and keep up?

Hey everyone, I’m Oj, and I’m really grateful to be here, surrounded by people who are chasing their dreams just like I am. I’m 23, Haitian American, and from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to film and storytelling—not just watching but creating. I’ve always imagined bringing my ideas and characters to life, whether in front of the camera or behind it. Now, I’m finally taking that leap, putting myself out there, and seeing just how far I can go. Creativity is at the core of who I am. I express myself through acting, modeling, and visual storytelling, and I know this is just the beginning. I also want to grow as a writer because, one day, I see myself creating, directing, and producing my own show. But more than success, what truly drives me is impact. I want my journey to inspire people to live with total freedom and love—by being an example of that myself. When people cross paths with me, I want them to feel safe to be their truest selves and walk away feeling seen, valued, and loved. That’s the energy I want to bring into this industry and into every space I enter. I’m here to learn, to grow, and to take in everything I can from this community as I step into this new chapter. If you’ve seen him on IG or bought his book like me, you probably fell in love with Chad’s dynamic but filterless personality; and I for one cannot wait to see what bold thing he says or writes next.
