Sorry for the absense!
Morning everyone. I have taken some time away to work on some projects and get MLT Years and Genres to a solid app. 6.0.5 is out now with a nice new polished look: https://mlt-yg.carrd.co/ I will now be posting a lot more regular on here aswell as helping more and more DJs with their music libraries. Little did I know running an app would be so time consuming LOL How is everyone doing, and what could I help you with today!

MLT Organise Beta Testers (No Genre Tracks)
When you have finished scanning, If you see tracks with No Genre, but in the composer field there are sub genres there. [See Photo Attached] Let me know what Main Genre these will fall under and I can update so these tracks will be updated in the future update. I have a scanned a lot of tracks on my end. But with your help you will be able to help build it ever more!

thanks thomas i'm not sure if i truly know how to use that software i had it a while back and was experimenting with it but don't know what happened with it.
Multiple Genres
Evening Community. I’ve made some great progress on improving the accuracy for Genre and Years, and I’m excited to share the updates with you. I have a quick question: If a genre is a mix of multiple genres (e.g., Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop), how would you prefer it to be handled? 1. Set as one of the genres (e.g., Hip-Hop) 2. Set as a combined genre (e.g., Hip-Hop/R&B/Pop) 3. Leave as "No Genre" since it can't be decide I'd love to hear your thoughts! Thanks in advance.

@Thomas Ormond i had that very same issue as you bro with no way of even knowing how to use the software properly i had to stumble my way around it with only a few YouTube videos just scratching the surface of how to use the software. but i managed to get it down to a manageable set of genres. i'm still working it out.

@Hynix Marley I usually struggle with smart crates i don't know why! i just like creating my crates the only thing is that it's time consuming. But i'm slowly coming to grips with understanding the method of how to use smart crates nuff respect to CeeB for his help with explaining how to create them, hence the need for me to complete the tagging of my music library.
Morning everyone!
Sorry for the late responses on everything. Had a busy weekend. Will be responding back to all posts throughout the day! Will also see where we are at with the beta to see if I need to make any big improvements to the next version!

Good morning ceeb no problems so far the software is doing what it says currently it’s doing fine..
How do you set your cue points?
I'm very interested in how each of you set your cue points for your tracks. For example, for my INTRO tracks. I have cue points at the following places: 1. Start of the track 2. Half way through the intro 3. At the drop of the track 4. On the first chorus Let me know how you set yours!

I do like my cues on point I tend to have one at the start and then one at the first beat the next one is at the drop, next about halfway through the song and one at 8 beats before the end of the track it would be good to have software that get the cueing spot on every time but such is life. I use Mixed in Key then add to serato if the cues are not perfect then I adjust in serato even though I’m still getting the hang of editing the grid.
