Hello, I'm Rich from the Midwestern U.S. Struggled with anxiety/OCD/depression most of my adult life. I've made progress through the years at not believing the constant stream of intrusive thoughts (or even blaming myself for having them), but I've yet to reach the point where I can honestly say the mind doesn't bother me. The constant internal stream of negativity still gets me down sometimes and leaves me feeling anything but peaceful. I think of it as my personal bully: Not the real me, but a very loud voice inside that is hard to ignore.
