@Brandon Quinton thank you for the warm welcome! I do believe computer science is becoming more prevalent, but only because that term encompasses all the new jobs being created around it. Being a software engineer does not properly describe the job like it did 20 years ago since there can be so many types of software engineers now especially from the AI disruption. We have smart contract engineers in crypto, dev ops engineers for medium to large size company IT infrastructures, mobile app devs, and deployment engineers. If there was one commonality among all of them it would be to read code and think critically on solving technical problems. So what does that mean for founders like us? If you’re a technical founder be prepared for a life of learning. You adapt to new technology fast or die. For the non technical founders I ask that you spend time understanding your tech stack with your CTO.
