Working with PublishFlow
Just giving a little feedback. I'm working on my first book using the software and once I got past the initial "what do I do", "where do I go" questions I've got to say I've been very happy with the process. Everything is moving along pretty smoothly. I probably spent 6 hours getting the outline right which has certainly helped with the writing output. I'm about 2/3 finished with the chapters. I did notice, or maybe it is something I was doing wrong, can we not ask the writing assistant to rewrite something after the fact check? I tried copying a section of a chapter and pasting it in for the WA, but it started rewriting the entire chapter. Since I'm not fully immersed into how everything functions yet, I have been cheating slightly with ChatGPT and Gemini maybe for peace of mind. I expect to not need those tools after using PublishFlow for a couple of books. Thanks Andrey and Roman for creating this tool!!

@Ljubitza Kouris Getting the outline in a good spot helps tremendously. As you start going through the chapters you may find changes you'll want to make, but they will be greatly reduced because of the work you put into the outline. This is my first book with PublishFlow and my 5th book overall and I've learned to spend whatever amount of time is needed on the outline to help the rest of the process run smoothly. Don't worry, you're doing the right things.

@Ljubitza Kouris I've finished my initial writing and proofreading of the chapters. I'll will go back and read from start to finish one last time. I know Andrey does the same. I'll also verify the facts again and make sure the sources are accurate. From prior experiences, AI has been known to embellish the truth or just make it up. Not saying this is happening here, but for my peace of mind it won't hurt to double-check. This book is around 45,000 words. I've spent a few hours a day for about a week and a half since finishing the outline. My very first book took months to finish. That was me trying to learn the process through a course with coaching. I ran into some roadblocks along the way. This process is moving much faster.

Cover Testing
Where do you recommend getting book covers tested? I know there are some sites that have polling features, but the traffic might not be great.

@Bec Robbie Thanks Bec!
Including sources
Hello, Andrey (or any one who would like to weigh in), what are your thoughts about including a Sources section? Include or not? I have quite a few sources listed, but was wondering what the implications might be if the sources were not listed. For example, might there be a problem with getting the book published on Amazon KDP, or worse? Thanks! Dan

Just wondering, but if you leave out sources aren't you opening yourself up to possible copyright problems?

Welcome to the KPD Publishers by PublishFlow Skool community! This Skool brings together both PublishFlow users and external self-publishers who are eager to learn more about the software or KDP publishing in general. To get the most out of the group, please follow these 3 steps if you're new here: ✅ 1. Make a post to introduce yourself: - Your name - How long have you been doing Self Publishing? - Are you an active PublishFlow user? - What is your 12-month goal with Self Publishing? - How can PublishFlow & I help you reach this goal? ✅ 2. Ask questions and help each other. In my experience, a community thrives because of its members. So be active, ask questions, and help one another. I was a member of the KDP School community for years and was always one of the most active members because I learned so much myself by asking questions and helping others. My goal is to create a lively, supportive atmosphere here. ✅ 3. Join our live calls where we talk publishing and create books together. We host weekly or biweekly live streams here in the community where we discuss publishing, brainstorm ideas, and write books together in real time. Click on the “Calendar” tab to find the date of our live calls. I'm glad you're part of this community, and I look forward to getting to know you through posts or calls! Hello everyone. I'm Rich from the US. I started with self-publishing with KDP about a year ago. I've published 4 non-fiction books with a limited amount of success. I've been watching Peter's interviews with Andrey for a few months and was really excited about mentioning PublishFlow. I was looking for a great product for my next book and was blown away with your demo. I signed up for the Pro plan. I'm looking to improve my books and move my business forward. It's always great to be able to pick the brains of successful people and I'm looking forward to doing that with everyone here.
