Flex - I'm about to head out for run 2 of the day and first one was in complete rain and next one is sunshine. Yay! Fail - I'm struggling with nutrition recently, just eating poorly and the wrong things. Making a concerted effort to fix this for the week coming

Flex, I did my first long run with a group of people. I was absolutely terrified, nerves were hitting because I didn't wanna hold people up, I'm a solo runner normally etc. But it was lovely, they were all so nice, even if there were more hills than I normally do! Glad I've got that out the way and maybe I can sign up to some things in future now. So proud!
Best Event Reward?
What kind of token of recognition do you MOST look forward to earning? I've never been a massive fan of medals for 'simply competing' - they just go straight in a drawer never to be seen again, BUT, having DNF'd and sat near a finish line yesterday, I REALLY coveted all the awesome people coming and collecting a medal. It felt actually earned and I think I finally 'got it' ! How about finisher t-shirts? Iron-on or velcro patches? Belt buckles? Certificates? Something more fun and collectible, like a "coin", a badge or similar? Or simple bottle of beer / chocolate is maybe reward enough in the moment?

Your challenge this month: pay attention to what you eat before, (during) and after your runs, and share an update once a week for 4 weeks. This is NOT about eating perfectly. It's about being curious and intentional about how nutrition affects your running. ✅ Rules ⬇️ 1️⃣ After at least one run per week, post an update using this format: [Your Name – Fuel Log #1], [Your Name – Fuel Log #2], and so on until you hit 4 comments total. 2️⃣ Each update should include what you ate before, during (if anything), and after your run, and how you felt. Rhiannon – Fuel Log #3 Before - half banana sandwich During - nothing After - rest of Banana sandwich to make sure I ate something then had a nice meal a while later. 8miles done, had some digestion issues so didn't eat during and cut it a bit short but felt really good. Did 3 miles at marathon pace then dropped slower for rest. Would have done better with some fuelling during but couldn't risk it and overall felt happy with what I managed to do.

Rhiannon – Fuel Log #4 Before - nothing (was running behind planned leaving time and forgot 😅) During - Styrkr Rice Bar After - Tomatoes on toast with tofu Half marathon done which felt good for most of it and felt well fuelled but last 3 miles were tougher than expected because legs just felt tired and it was starting to warm up. Overall fuelled well but maybe needed some more water as I was parched in last mile
