My primary target is group insurance, and I specialize in level funding for employers with 50 to 250 employees.

Greetings, I recently received my license and I opened an LLC to open an agency and work under it. I have zero experience but I'm willing to learn the ropes while starting out the agency. I have a few questions that maybe some people could help me with. I'm trying to apply for my agency and when trying to appoint myself, it says that since I'm currently not appointed I can't apply for the agency license. Would I have to appoint myself initially in my independent account to then apply for the agency? and how would that affect my ability to work with carriers? I'm looking to being an independent agent rather than a captive one.
