My name is Rex Chiles and I am originally from the UK, in 2025, I came to America to study a degree while playing football/soccer. I originally thought my degree was gonna take me four years and cost me upwards of $100,000. Not only was this something that I couldn't afford it was also something that I didn't want to do. I wanted to come to America for an experience and four years was too much for me so I decided to look for ways to change that. Eventually after months and months of researching and doing different exams and figuring out the American system and how it really works... I ended up finding a number ways to accelerate my graduation by two years and save so much money on my degree. Now I'm here and I want to share my experience and teach people to do the same. My mission is to make studying in America possible for more people.

My introduction
Hi, My name is Witse Moulaert and I am from Brussels, Belgium. I play soccer at Saginaw Valley State University in Michigan (NCAA D2) and this is my second year in the US. In my first year I attended a school called Mount Marty University in South Dakota. This is an NAIA school. I had a really good season as a freshman, I started for my team and played more than 1000 minutes. After the season I wanted to transfer out for several reasons. Looking for a higher level, better scholarship and a new experience.

Hey! My name is Zuzanna and I'm from Poland and I play volleyball. I'm: Already studying in the US I'm hoping to: know if I can do the CLEP exam before the semester starts or can I do it in the middle? AND Should I be registered for that specific class to do the CLEP exam? (Im planning on graduating early and if I don't have to be enrolled in that class to do the test then it would make it easier to achieve. Thanks!

Can you do CLEP exams before the semester starts or can you do it in the middle? - You can take CLEP exams whenever they are a resource that are external to the school so all they do is see your exam score and then grant your credit for it. The only caveat this is that you kind of have to be in the US there is some way that you can do them online outside the US but especially at your school because I know you have a testing centre in the library I would just recommend doing them in there. But answer your question directly you can do them in the middle of the semester you can do them at the start of the semester at the end of the semester in the summer you can do them whenever you like. It's just about finding a testing centre and finding a time to do it.

Should you be registered for that specific class to do the CLEP exam? - now this question is quite easy to answer because the answer is no. It's actually really bad if you're registered for the class and also plan to do the clep exam and here's why - if you do a clep exam for a class, then it will replace that class so you don't have to register for it or take it at the college, however, if you do a clep exam and register the class and do the class at the college then they'll just grant you that class once and then give you elective credit for the clep exam, or actually more likely they won't give you any credit at all because they'll see it as like content overlap so they can't give you credit twice for the same content. So if you plan to do a CLEP exam for a subject then avoid enrolling in the class.
