Who did Bergen listen to?
A lot of people talk about listening to Bergen for inspiration not just for the funny, but how real the personalities were of the dummies. My wonder is who did Bergen look to for inspiration?

Sore throats?
The late great Bill DeMar told me of something that saved my throat on library tours. Throat Coat Herbal Tea. Sold anywhere that sell herbal teas.

What are some things you feel are best practices for performing for a young audience and why?

If I bring a child up to help, I put down standing spots and say very funny-serious way Don’t move. It can be a running gag.
