🌿 Introducing My Ice Age Trail Journey: A Mission of Resilience & Awareness 🚶‍♂️
Hey everyone! I’m so excited to share a huge adventure with you. On April 4th & 5th, I’ll be setting out on the Ice Age Trail, a 1,000+ mile trek across Wisconsin. This journey isn’t just about hiking—it’s about overcoming adversity, reclaiming dignity, and showing what’s possible for those who have faced physical challenges. Many of you know my story—losing my leg, battling heart disease, and working my way back to health through holistic living and sheer determination. This hike represents more than just miles—it’s a statement that no matter what life throws at us, we can keep moving forward. Support & Gratitude 🙌 I’m incredibly grateful to those who have already supported this mission: 💙 Jeff Bunch for his generous FreeFunder donation 🎙️ Mike Bolland for having me on the We’re Not Stumped podcast 📰 Ben Singson for featuring my journey in the Jacksonville Journal Courier 🎙️ Rick Bontkowski for the podcast feature Also, a huge thank you to Atlas Bars for fueling my journey with their incredible high-protein bars! Their belief in my mission means so much. Why This Matters to You Many of us here in this community are navigating big life transitions, health challenges, and personal growth. This hike is a symbol of how we can take control of our health, rebuild our strength, and refuse to be defined by limitations. I want to bring you along on this journey—not just through updates, but by sharing insights on resilience, mindset shifts, and holistic strategies that help us keep going. How You Can Help 💡 This is a season-long journey, and I still need support to complete it. Whether it’s sharing the fundraiser, connecting me with sponsors, or just cheering me on, every bit makes a difference! 🛑 Want to help? Check out my FreeFunder campaign here: http://ffnd.co/jsOfsd Thank you all for being part of this! I can’t wait to share the adventure with you and show that no matter where we are in life, we can always take the next step forward. 💪🌿 Let me know—what’s a challenge you’ve overcome that made you stronger? Drop it in the comments! 👇

Help!
Sorry, I'm missing lately. My son needs prayers He is being treated in the ICU for heart failure. Infection is the suspected cause; he is breathing on his own tonight, so that is a slight improvement. Thank you!

Day 2: Believing in Yourself – Taking Control of Life’s Decisions
How Do You Build Confidence in Life-Changing Decisions? Believing in yourself is a vital part of self-discovery. For many of us, taking control of major life decisions can feel intimidating—we worry about making the wrong choice or doubt our abilities. But confidence often grows when we embrace responsibility for shaping our own paths. Have you ever made a life-changing decision? What helped you trust yourself in that moment? Or if you’re facing such a decision now, what tools or practices are helping you build your belief in your own abilities? Let’s brainstorm ways to foster self-trust and take empowered steps toward creating a life that aligns with our deeper purpose. What decisions have you made that have significantly changed your life's path?

This really resonates with me. I don't trust myself too much in any decision. I always second guess myself. The only thing I do trust is when I know truth about God's word and I can speak to that confidently because I have His word to back me up. Other than that, I really struggle with insecurity and trust in others and myself.

@Tom Jalinski we all struggle in one way or another. I know God uses all our "stuff" to cause us to seek Him more.
Looking Ahead – What’s Next on the Journey?
How Will You Continue Your Self-Discovery? Self-discovery isn’t a destination—it’s an ongoing journey. As we wrap up this week of discussions, I’m thinking about how to carry forward what I’ve learned and continue growing. What about you? How do you plan to keep discovering more about yourself and your purpose? What tools, practices, or habits help you stay inspired and engaged in this journey? Let’s keep the conversation going and inspire one another to stay committed to our personal growth! What would you like to explore together?

I'm working on being grateful even when my health is NOT going my way. God knows and He loves me and He will keep me steady in the journey.
