Dear Soil Aficionados, The statewide Historic Garden Week Tour has wrapped up. My neighborhood's managing garden club (there are dozens statewide) estimated over 1,100 ticket sales. It "felt" like around 500 people. I used LLMs multiple times, daily on plant compatibility, weeds, even hardscape and decor. 🌺The docents were magnificent in their greeting, crowd flow, and scripts. 🍊 200 years of history were displayed across 3 tables with pink/orange table runners and cloths. A fragrant pink peony arrangement adorned a patio table. 🌺 Even the great granddaughter of a prior owner from 1900 came by and sat next to the house portrait painted by her greatgrandmother. ...in an old Windsor chair, for theme's sake. 🍊 So many new connections, existing neighbors, plus friends and family from neighboring states. 🩷🧡 GRATEFUL 🩷🧡 For a few days, the skool app would crash, so I took it as an omen to recharge and clean up!

1) leaf miner: has Anyone regrown from heavy dessication? A Local arborist has finished 1 of 2 Leaf Miner treatments on all my Boxwoods ( pictured cultivar is unknown.) Ive got about 15 boxwoods- wintergem, green mountain, new generation, then the 6ft ones pictured) 2) plant hospital site: I'msensing the boxwoods and inkberry in pots are more stressed than those in ground. Do I sow tall fescue ( which will have bluegrass) march 6-10 to get a lawn by mid April? Ryegrass is faster but is that the runner stuff that spreads like a weed? I need Help beyond google/ gemini. Thanks!
