Happy New Month! We Are Blooming!
What’s In Your Cup?
What’s In Your Cup? There is wisdom in the cup. There is memory in the steam. What’s In Your Cup? is a soft return, to ritual, to rest, to the quiet medicine waiting in your hands. Each blend is more than tea; it is an invitation to slow down, to listen, and to receive the language of the plants. In this space, we sip with intention. We learn the stories of the herbs. We honor the ways they tend to our bodies, hold our emotions, and guide our spirits back into balance. This is not just about what you drink, it’s about how you come back to yourself. 🍵 In This Cup: Tulsi & Rose Tulsi (Holy Basil)Tulsi meets you at the center.Where the breath deepens… where the noise softens. She is a sacred protector of the nervous system, helping the body remember how to respond without overwhelm. In your cup, Tulsi steadies the spirit, clears the mind, and invites you back into alignment with your own rhythm. This is the herb of devotion, a gentle anchor in the midst of movement. Rose opens what has been held. Petal by petal, she softens the edges of the heart—making space for tenderness, for grief, for love to move freely again. In your tea, Rose brings sweetness, but also depth… reminding you that softness is strength. She whispers:you are allowed to receive. Tea Ritual Reflection As your tea steeps, pause. Place one hand over your heart, one over your cup. Ask yourself:What am I ready to soften into today? Sip slowly. Let the plants meet you there.

Welcome! Let's Get Started...
Welcome to the Kitchen Medicine Collective. This community was created as a space for people who are curious about herbal medicine but want a simple, practical place to begin. For thousands of years, kitchens were places of healing. The herbs and spices we cook with every day—ginger, garlic, chamomile, thyme, turmeric, mint—have long been used to support digestion, immunity, emotional balance, and overall wellness. Kitchen medicine reminds us that healing doesn’t always require complicated formulas or a large herbal apothecary. Often, it begins with the plants already within reach. This community is also inspired by my book Kitchen Medicines: 21 Herbs for Everyday Healing, which explores the healing potential of the herbs many of us already use every day. Whether you are new to herbal medicine or already working with plants, this space is here to help you learn, practice, and share kitchen medicine together. Begin the journey with 4 simple steps 1️⃣ Introduce Yourself Head to the Community Feed and share a short introduction. You might include: • Where you’re joining from • Your favorite kitchen herb • What you hope to learn here 2️⃣ Explore the Foundations Start with the basics: 🌿 What is Kitchen Medicine? 🍵 The Power of Herbal Teas 🌱 Building Your Kitchen Apothecary These simple practices will help you begin working with herbs right away. 3️⃣ Join the Conversation This community grows through shared experience. You’re invited to: • ask questions • share herbal recipes • post photos of your kitchen herbs • talk about what you're learning 4️⃣ Continue the Journey As the community grows, you’ll also find opportunities to go deeper through: 🌿 seasonal herbal workshops 🌿 beginner herbal courses 🌿 community gatherings and teaching My hope is that this space becomes a place where we share knowledge, learn from one another, and reconnect with the wisdom of plants. Thank you for being here and for bringing your curiosity, questions, and experiences. Your kitchen is your first apothecary. We’re so happy you’re here.
