Day 11
Hello All, here are my thoughts: Hebrews 12 is reminding us that faith is a journey, like running a long race, you have to focus on controlling your breathing, your thoughts, and keep going even when it is hard. God uses challenges not to punish us, but to redirect us, help us grow stronger and stay focused on Him. Genesis 24–25 shows what that kind of faith looks like in real life, including and trusting God with all my/our decisions, and believing like Abraham did, even when the promise may go beyond your lifetime. We may have been born looking like our parents, but we will die looking like our choices. These chapters remind me to keep moving forward, have faith and trust in God’s timing, make good choices that honor Him, and know that faith takes endurance When we focus on working our own land, our gifts and talents, we give God something to work with. Our faith, trust, and obedience open the door for His blessings and answered prayers

Wow, love this statement, ‘We may have been born looking like our parents, but we will die looking like our choices.’ Hebrews 12 reminds us to run our race with endurance, keeping our eyes on Jesus. Every choice we make matters—our faithfulness, our love, our daily decisions shape who we become.
Day 12
What immediately stood out to me in Genesis 26 was Isaac doing the same thing his father did by presenting his wife as his sister. Once again, God protected them, just as He did with Abraham. Even with that misstep, Isaac was obedient to God and carried himself with a peaceful spirit. When the herders argued with him over the wells his servants dug, Isaac didn’t push back. Instead, he allowed them to keep the wells and simply moved on to dig another. I believe it was this peaceful demeanor that allowed Abimelech and his people to see God at work in Isaac, which ultimately led to a peaceful agreement between them. Hebrews 13 reminds me that faith is lived out in the small, everyday moments. It encourages me to stay grounded, love people, and trust God instead of stressing or trying to handle everything on my own. I am reminded that God isn’t asking for perfection, again, I am enough, and He is simply asking for my faithfulness and trust. Knowing that He equips me with what I need gives me peace and helps me stay steady in my walk.

I am very grateful that God doesn’t require perfection—just my trust, my faithfulness, and a heart that leans on Him through every moment.

Day 12: Genesis 26 and Hebrews 13
In Genesis 26, Isaac’s stability does not come from land ownership, political power, or control over resources. He is a sojourner, repeatedly displaced as wells are taken from him. Yet God’s promise anchors him: “Do not fear, for I am with you.” (Gen. 26:24) Isaac’s life is marked by movement, uncertainty, and vulnerability—but also by divine presence. Hebrews 13 echoes this same foundation when it says: “Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’” (Heb. 13:5) Common thread: Security is not found in possession or position, but in God’s abiding presence

What keeps Isaac steady isn’t what he owns, but Who is holding him. Even when he loses ground, God’s presence never leaves.
