Distant Voice and Improving my Craft
How does one do the distant voice properly? I want to do more with ventriloquism, but I feel I’m not doing enough. Don’t get me wrong! I have good material I’ve done, with great characters as well. I just want to evolve my act to keep it current.

I have always had problems with the distant voice myself I've never been able to do it at all. Every time I tried it I started coughing so I didn't do it and never learned it at all. I met Mark Wade a good few year's ago when I went to the first opening of the UKs ventriloquist and called Ventaramahe can the distant voice so I asked him if he wouldn't mind showing me how to do it and teach me. He said imagine picking something up heavy and a you should get it I tried it and failed it lol. But anyway get a hold of Mark Wade if you can I'm sure he will be more than happy to show and teach you it. Hope this helps Timothy.
Version of Whitney Houston's "I Have Nothing" with Zepellin and Me
Hey guys!! I hope all of you are doing fine!! I'm rehearsing the "I Have Nothing" song with my new puppet (I'm still finishing making the eyes), which we'll perform in a few weeks. She sort of falls in love with me. I'm still adding new things, there will obviously be more hugs and more love scenes in the middle. After recording the video and watching It, I've realized that when she shuts my mouth I don't have to touch myself because of the sound and that I also have to correct the posture a little bit. I wanted to see if you could give me feedback or to know if you think this is a good idea!!

That was brilliant. That's a difficult song to sing I've tried it myself. Well done.

@Clau Cepa You're welcome.
Anyone Like Wooden Figures
If so, why? Why do you prefer wooden figures? I know most vents use soft puppets now but let’s hear from you.

I've got a hard figure that I brought when I was in my late 30s early 40s I think that's originally called Simon but because I was only just learning ventriloquism I couldn't say (M) properly I changed his name to Andrew Starke. I've still got him. I'm not a professional paid entertainer I did manage to do that so I use him on my tictok livestreams. I do soft puppets as well.

Voice inside the suitcase
I have seen a few vents do this. Anyone do this in their act?

Yeah. I've seen it done quite a few times. I've never done it before myself though to be honest.
