1 contribution to Write Your Book 📚
Most book launches don’t fail because of bad marketing. They fail because the message isn’t clear.
I’ve seen authors try 20 different strategies, ads, reels, newsletters, TikTok, giveaways… and still feel like their book is invisible. But here’s the thing: 👉 If you can’t explain what your book actually offers a reader in 1–2 sentences that spark curiosity and connection… 👉 If your blurb feels “meh” even to you… 👉 If your hook sounds just like everyone else’s… …then no amount of promotion will save it. Here’s a dead simple question that always helps me (and a few author friends) fix this fast: “Why would a complete stranger care about this story?" Not your friends. Not people who write in your genre. A cold reader. One you’ve never met. When you answer that honestly, the fog starts to lift. 💬 What’s your answer to that question, why would someone who doesn’t know you at all care about your book? Drop it below, I’ll give feedback if you want it. 👇
