Welcome Lori! 🕊️
A warm Cornerstone welcome to @Lori Ross 🤍 Inside the classroom you’ll find free pages, printable study tools, and character studies on six women of the Bible waiting to explore. And on June 1st, our new Pentecost / Upper Room study begins in Acts 1 & 2. 🔥 We’re glad you’re here, Lori. Pull up a chair and stay awhile. ☕📖

@Jaymie Workman can't sing a note but love to praise God with song...bad song but He love me any way.
Do you remember how to celebrate?
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how hard it is to move forward when you’ve spent a long time in survival mode. Miriam’s story happens after the sea closes behind them. The danger was over… but someone still had to teach the people how to sing again. 🌊💜 That part really stayed with me this week.

I know I have to work at the celebration sometimes because I seem to be so worn out from the battle. But I am really working to remember even if it just Thank you Jesus.
What has God delivered you from?
He’s carried me through so much lately… what I celebrated most though were my two pregnancies. Both were high risk, complicated, and followed more than a few losses. Both my babies came early, but we manage to stay out of nicu and both are thriving. I thank God for them every day.

I had a brain tumor removed and it took 11 months to recover including learning to walk again. God never left my side.
Creative Devotion and Worship
I spent a long time not understanding what it was that I was looking for when it came to devotional practices. I didn't make the connection between creativity and worship until I came back to my faith as an adult. As a non Christian I glorified my planner. I loved it. I spent hours in it. I carried it with me everywhere. I stopped using it when I came back to my faith and I stared at it unused on my desk for a year before I realized I could do this with it, that I could channel that glorification towards God, who actually deserved to be glorified. How do you use creativity in worship? How do you want to? What are the creative skills or hopes God has planted in you?

I found as I let myself explore how to illustrate a passage, my mind seeks to understand it. I think about it. I look for the little details. For example fruit of the spirit is normally illustrated by a collection of different fruits, but if you look closely you it fruit not fruits and all those gifts each of us can have. It also my quit time with God. I have a lot of trouble with the be still sections in scripture. But let my mind craft scripture and find my listening for Him.

Hi I am single but raised my 3 nephews. I am trying to find a way to combine my love of paper crafting and my love for the Lord.
