Declutter Tip!
Hey Purpose Family! Planning isn't always about the tasks that need to get done NOW, it's also about the things that need to get done eventually and something that is ongoing. Decluttering for me is an ongoing process. You see these boxes... I have a friend that orders Amazon by the truck loads or however they sell them lol She always saves crafty stuff for me. When she said she had something for me, I had no idea I'd walk into 6 boxes. They've been stacked in our room downstairs for the longest. In my planner today I started making my declutter list. This isn't a task that needs to get done right now or stress me out... it's just something that I need to work on. I have 6 boxes and have made a plan! I will tackle one box each week on Wednesdays. Garbage day is Thursday so anything I need to throw away can go out, anything I need to donate will get dropped off and anything I want to give to someone they have 24 hours before it goes out. Sounds like 6 weeks is a long time for one project... but guess what... next week it will be 5 weeks and progress will have been made. I am not going to let the boxes stress me out. I'm not going to allow it to take over my mind while I do nothing about it. There are other things... the hallway closet, the junk drawer, craft closet, etc. I am making a plan and I'll work toward it one project at a time. Instead of stressing out about the declutter, set a plan and get to work a little bit at a time. Are you ready to add decluttering to your ongoing plan?
