It's been awhile!
Hey everyone just checking in wanted to say hi to all the new peeps and old peeps still hanging out here! For those that are interested "I"should be having my baby this week if all goes well. I am very excited about that! But I have a semi professional question to ask: would anyone be upset if my baby was a frequent part of my podcasts in the near future. To clarify it wouldn't be about the baby he would just be on video from time to time. I honestly don't really plan on it but I was curious if anyone cared?

How to prep an interview with a Nobel Laureate
Hey guys, next week we have here (close to Frankfurt) the Curious 2024, they want to be the WEF for science. We have a lot of interesting attendees and six of them on-site are Nobel Laureates. One already agreed to an remote interview following the event. What is your best practice for preparing interviews? I have been getting questions togehter and listened to or read old interviews. I don't feel like this is suffienct here. Happy for all your input. I have at least one week to prepare for the interview. Best regards Joe

Have you read their Nobel acceptance speech? I would start there. Then read something about their work that won the prize (the work itself might be hyper-technical but there are bound to be explainers for lay folks. Then see how they have used their Nobel Laureate status--have they used it to advocate for causes they care about? to generate interest in specific kinds of research? to raise funds for young scholars? etc? FWIW, I would be most interested in hearing about how receiving the Nobel prize has given them a new platform for accomplishing things.
